About the adventure
The Knights of the Raven, a powerful order of vampire hunters is preparing their grand crusade to purge the lands of Sylvania. But their past raids have proven that they lack the neccesary knowledge of that dread land, & legalities within the Empire prevent them from acting too directly. This is why you have been contracted by a high ranking commander, to act in secret where the order can not. While the knights prepare, you will infiltrate the lands ruled by the Von Carsteins, gathering intelligence, destabilizing, & removing any impediments to the orders goals. But be warned, the lands of Sylvania are full of all manner of undead horrors. And with no official backing, the wrong move could end with you meeting the headsmen, or under the fangs of one of the Vampire Counts themselves.

About me
I'm an LBGTQ+ game master with over 15 years of running role playing games. I specialize in the horror genre, like chronicles of darkness, but also run lore centered D&D & super hero games. If you enjoy over the top action which has you spitting in the face of death, then you will enjoy my storytelling style. I like to compare the types of games I enjoy running to buffy the vampire slayer or supernatural. My favorite games to run are Chronicles of Darkness, Sword Chronicle, & Forgotten Realms 3.75(pathfinder 1e using the 3.5 setting) I am a full time game master as well, so even if I dont have a game listed you are interested in, I am free & open outside of those times for custom game requests.

Creating your character
This game will focus on a group of secret agents gathered by the Knights of the Raven, to undergo covert operations in the vampire ruled lands of sylvania. Content will be available from the WFRP 4th Edition rulebook, with additional content from supplementary books approved on a case by case basis. Books that will be available to draw from will be as follows - WFRP 4th Edition Core - Up In Arms - Winds of Magic - Archives of the Empire Vol 1-3 - Deft Steps & Light Fingers - Dwarf Players Guide - High Elf Players Guide - Old World Bundle 2 Character generation will occur during a zero session with everyone present. This is as much to make sure we all mesh as a group of people as it is to make the characters, backgrounds & get everyones equipment setup. We will also discuss lines & veils for the game(please Private message me ahead of time if your uncomfortable with expressing these in a live chat). For those that join later, a one on one onboarding session will be scheduled outside of the normal game time to make you a character. Afterwards communication & further background info will be conducted with everyone via a discord channel on the server I use. No character's will be approved prior to the zero session. This includes pre-generated characters, & all players will be required to meet the same character creation expectations of the table, which may vary from group to group.
New Players that join after the campaign has started will be required to attend an onboarding session outside of the normal schedule to create a character appropriate for the group & setting. This onboarding session is charged.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord account with quality microphone that allows for clear communication without undue background noise & a stable internet connection. Those who are operating on mobile hot spots will not be fast enough to stay connected with foundry. A PC that can meet the requirements to run Foundry Virtual Tabletop. Netbooks & chrome books I have found in the past do not meet meet these requirements. Familiarity with Warhammer Fantasy Role Play 4th Edition rules is good but not required.
What Dean brings to the table
I will be supplying the Foundry VTT for use with our game, with all the listed modules of Warhammer Fantasy Role Play 4th edition accessible. Full custom graphics & NPC interfaces I've programed for it specifically.

How Dean creates a safe table
Most sessions will be a mixture of investigation, role playing & combat depending on where the current story is going. Combat is also very dangerous, so characters becoming injured or close to death isnt impossible. Sexual content will always fade to black if it occurs, & will never occur between player characters unless all involved players consent. Lines & veils will also be honored & set up ahead of the chronicle via discord chat, so that I can fine tune any plot content to avoid things players may not want to face in game. Additionally, I am always online via my discord both during & outside of game should you need to bring something to my attention, whether thats a veil thats being approached too close or something makes you uncomfortable.
