About the adventure
This one shot is a part of a larger series, but can be done on it's own. A group of pirates have an item that they're looking to cash in on, but not if you can get to it first! Lucky for you, you have Brenda from Accounting. She's an ex member of that pirate crew & knows just how to sneak aboard their ship. That's where you come in! Heists & "stealth missions" can go different ways in D&D sometimes. Sometimes everyone is on the same page, & other times there's a Leeroy Jenkins or two. It'll be up to your group to decide how to move once you're onboard the SUNKILLER. This game is set in the Spelljamming setting & I'll be leaning really into the beautiful zaniness that comes with it. It'll be dangerous, but work together & you'll most likely get out alive & much wealthier!

About me
Greetings, I'm Cake! I'm your easy going facilitator of both in-person and online quests in D&D, Daggerheart, & Call of Cthulhu. I've been a storyteller my whole life, but about six years ago I fell in love with the TTRPG medium & I haven't looked back! The art of creating adventures and crafting stories has captivated me since my childhood & now that I've found TTRPGS, these wild ideas have been evolving into handcrafted memorable campaigns. I like to blend fantasy, horror, & humor into a a few hours of gaming where we can just sink into our characters & experience their scenes together. Shared storytelling is one of my favorite things about TTRPGs, as a DM, I set up the world & you knock it down, sometimes literally... Join me on our collective journey through thrilling escapades, where laughter, challenges, and unforeseen surprises await. Together, we'll co-create stories and forge memories to live in our hearts forever.

Creating your character
All official WOTC 2024 content is good to go. Stats can be Point Buy or Standard Array. Character Sheets can be on Roll20 or DnDBeyond (with the extension). If you go DnDBeyond, please send over your character sheet to me at least one hour prior to game time. Characters can have 1 RARE, 1 UNCOMMON, & 2 COMMON items. Please send them to me at least an hour before game time. **Think about WHY your character was hired fro this mission. What did they do in the past that would have given them some street cred.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A working mic, a free Discord, & Free Roll20 account is all you'll need. I got the rest for you. Feel free to reach out to me prior to our game if you have questions about Roll20's operating system.
What Cake brings to the table
I'll be (trying my best) at bringing the HEAT with these NPCs & their voices lol. I'll also have music & visuals to help us. We'll be moving fast, but we'll need to build the "tension of the heist" together.
Homebrew rules
No flanking in this one, & Death Saves are whispered to me. Any spell, ability, or MAGIC ITEM with a 2014 or 2024 version, will be the 2024 version.
