About the adventure
Returning home from a grand adventure and bedding down at camp along the road. You find yourself dreaming a terrible dream, then awakening in a strange place. Surrounded by mist, you feel yourself being watched. But you are not alone, others have also been snatched by the mists. You must work together to fight the horrors and escape this Domain of Dread. This is a level 8 one-shot escape the Dread Domain adventure, featuring a beholder and its dreaming beholderkin.

Creating your character
The party will play at level 8 with starting equipment, a common magic item, an uncommon magic and +1000GP to spend on mundane items or healing potions (regular 50, greater 250, superior 450). You can use standard array or point buy for stats and fixed HP. We will use the 2024/5.5e rules. I allow most official player character options on D&D Beyond, but please be mindful of table harmony when creating your character so we can have a fun experience for everyone at the table.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
If you don't already, you will need free accounts for Discord and D&D Beyond; nothing needs to be purchased. A good mic and headset are recommended for voice communication on Discord. A link to the Discord Server will be sent to you beforehand, where you will find the rest of the info to get set up.
