About the adventure
The Crack-Trap Tribe is dead. Years ago, a band of adventurers descended into the tribe's tunnels, slew their dragon patron, looted their treasure, and left the warren in ruins. The survivors swore vengeance, but time has a way of changing stories. Now the last members of the tribe remember only fragments of what happened. The heroes were tall. Or short. Maybe one was a horse. The details are fuzzy, but one thing is certain: The heroes must pay. In this all-kobold campaign, you'll play members of the fallen Crack-Trap Tribe on an epic quest for revenge. Armed with homemade traps, questionable plans, and an unwavering confidence that far exceeds your actual competence, you'll hunt for the adventurers who destroyed your home. The problem? You don't actually know who they are. Along the way, you'll ambush innocent travelers, accidentally start local legends, recruit increasingly dubious allies, and search for a dragon powerful enough to help restore your tribe to glory. This campaign blends comedy, roleplay, exploration, and classic fantasy adventure. While the premise is humorous, the story has heart beneath the chaos as the kobolds grapple with grief, identity, and the meaning of rebuilding after losing everything. Expect plenty of opportunities for creative problem-solving, ridiculous schemes, and memorable character moments. Perfect for players who enjoy underdog stories, chaotic teamwork, clever plans that may or may not work, and the idea of being the tiny monsters normally found in someone else's dungeon. No prior experience is required; new and veteran players alike are welcome. Bring a kobold, a grudge, and perhaps a backup grudge just in case.

About me
Hi! I’m Moses, and I use she/they pronouns. I have a Ph.D. in English, 10 years of teaching experience, and a love for games that feel personal, emotional, and alive. I run D&D 5e, both 2014 and 2024 rules, Deathmatch Island, and other story-focused TTRPGs. My tables are collaborative and character-driven, with room for dramatic choices, messy plans, emotional reveals, and the kind of chaos only players can create. I like building worlds that respond to what the party does, not forcing everyone through a pre-written script. New players are very welcome, and veterans will still have plenty to dig into. I care about clear guidance, player agency, open communication, safety tools, and making sure everyone gets a chance to matter. Come tell a story with me. We’ll make it weird, heartfelt, dramatic, funny, and worth remembering.

Creating your character
🔸 Each player will create a Level 1 kobold character who is one of the surviving members of the fallen Crack-Trap Tribe. 🔹 There is no official Session 0. The first 30 minutes of the campaign’s opening session will be reserved for introductions, expectations, safety tools, and general housekeeping. All other character creation discussion, campaign preparation, and Session 0 material will take place through the dedicated Discord campaign channels. 🔸 Characters may be prepared beforehand, and guidance and character creation support will be available through the Discord server before the first session. 🔹 Players will choose their class, background, tribe role, and personal connection to the destruction of the tribe. Were you a trapmaker, egg keeper, scout, mushroom farmer, or dragon cultist before the heroes came? 🔸 Special attention will be given to each kobold’s quirks, grudges, memories of the attack, and dreams for the future. Whether your goal is revenge, rebuilding the tribe, finding a new dragon patron, or becoming the greatest kobold hero in history, your choices will help shape the story from the very beginning.
