About the adventure
A thousand years ago, the gods fell. Their deaths reshaped the Mortal Plane into a world of invention, intrigue, and peril. From their ashes rose new powers an age of mortals, steam, and ambition. Cities gleam with magitech wonders while shadows fester in alleys, and ancient dragons brood in the tundra, raising cults in their name. The campaign unfolds across four nations, each a crucible of destiny: The Imperial Consortium, heart of hierarchy and industry, where nobles in the Sky District rule over factories, markets, and the Gutterworks below. The Free Cities Alliance, democratic and thriving on green innovation, its capital Ashenport crowned by the First Green Tree. The Clockwork Republic, a desert technocracy within the gear-pyramid of Gearford Spire, where invention is god and failure exile. The Frontier Domains, untamed tundra dotted with villages where dragon cults rise and survival is written in snow. Where you begin shapes the story itself. A character raised in the Consortium might be tied to aristocracy, factories, or thieves’ guilds, while one from the Free Cities is likely bound to innovation, seafaring trade, or politics of green energy. The Republic molds its children with guild rivalries, experimental inventions, and brutal meritocracy. In the Frontiers, the wilds and dragonspawn breed a harsher resolve, with cults and warlords shaping every choice. Each origin colors not only the characters’ stories, but the world’s responses to them—changing alliances, resources, and threats that emerge later in play. Adventurers are not mere wanderers here—they are the sparks that ignite change. They may uncover haunted districts and rogue automaton hives, or walk high-society halls where whispers topple dynasties. They may bargain with primal spirits, experiment with magitech whose risks are as great as rewards, or challenge wyrmlings in frozen wastes. A new crafting system allows characters to harvest monster parts, forge relics from divine remnants, and experiment with inventions that reshape combat and exploration. Communication across nations flows through the CrystalCom, a crystal-powered device used for guild jobs, politics, and intrigue—yet bound to the Free Cities, where all innovation begins. In Ashes of Divinity: The Mortal Age, every choice reshapes the Mortal Age itself. Will you side with guilds or rebels, dragons or gods in mortal form? Will you build, destroy, or uncover truths better left buried? The gods may be gone, but their echoes remain—and the world is waiting for you to decide its next chapter.

About me
I have always been creative, even before joining the Dungeons & Dragons community. I first became involved with the game in 2019. During the COVID pandemic, I was let go from my customer service position but continued working as a caregiver. In my free time, I searched for something meaningful to engage with and soon discovered Westmarch-style D&D servers via discord. This opened the door to a surge of creative character ideas, and I quickly Fell in love with the game. By 2021, my love for storytelling and worldbuilding naturally led me to step into the role of Dungeon Master. My DMing style leans toward realism, with a strong focus on understanding the players and their characters in order to provide them with immersive, often horror-inspired experiences. Over time, I have created numerous homebrew one-shots and narrative-driven settings for Westmarch communities. For me, the greatest joy of GMing lies in crafting stories collaboratively with players, blending their creativity with mine to create unforgettable adventures.
