About the adventure
In one of the many Marvel Multiverses, a new X-Men Academy and team are forming in an unlikely place- Wakanda! It is a time of great change for the Afro-Futuristic nation- Storm's academy was just finished when the two of them broke up... messily. T'Chala, the Black Panther, helped change his kingdom into a democracy, and immediately lost to a political opponent on a technicality. And more and more mutants are being born at abnormally high rates, causing tensions all over Africa. But you can't think about that. You're either a new mutant, learning how to use your powers responsibly and productively, alongside some algebra and history, or a new hero who has signed on to help Storm keep order and help out. Mutant prejudice is at an all time high after an explosion rocked the center of the city, so it's up to you to be a hero, save the day, and look good doing it, or the Academy might get shut down. Your legend starts today. Be brave. Be bold. Be a true Marvel.

About me
I've been GM-ing role playing games as long as I've been playing them, going back all the way to ye olde 3.5e days when I was the first in my group to read the Dungeon Master's Guide. Two decades later and this forever DM is ready to share that experience with the world. I've earned my stripes in everything from White Wolf's Storyteller system to several editions and renditions of the DnD formula to the fast and dirty combat of the Shadowrun universe. Creating your character
Characters will be Rank 1, made as standard with the Demiplane Character Creator. This can be done before session, but we will make characters hand over hand during session 0 if anyone needs help.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Watch Black Panther, Read Some X-Men, and Dream Big. Also, you will need a free account on Demiplane, Discord, and Roll20, a PC, and a microphone of acceptable quality.
What Ross brings to the table
Players will have access to all resources I have on Demiplane, free to peruse or use as they need it. I bring a variety of voices, a rule of cool style, and a sound track that will make you feel like a blockbuster hero.

How Ross creates a safe table
Before playing everyone must fill out a google form detailing their lines and veils. I will go over these, and during session 0 we will anonymously discuss any serious concerns. X cards are always available digitally, verbally, or through DM. I have an open door policy, so if you ever have safety concerns we will discuss them ASAP.
