About the adventure
DRAKKENHEIM IS NO MORE. An eldritch storm of falling stars devastated the city on that woeful eve, leaving behind a meteorite that would have lasting effects. Fifteen years later, Drakkenheim is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artefacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins. However, even those who survive the dangers of Drakkenheim might not return unmarked by its terrors! In addition, this is D&D ReForged which has a Build-a-Class approach to D&D using primary 2014/2024 Rules and elements of prior editions. Choose one of the Four Archetypal Classes and then build it as you wish with Feats each Level. The material herein will challenge characters from 1st to 10th level. EXPLORATION. Characters embark on dangerous expeditions into monster-filled ruins, haunted streets, decrepit gardens, shattered mage towers, baroque cathedrals, and ancient castles to plunder treasure and solve mysteries. INTERACTION. Five rival factions clash over the ruins of Drakkenheim. A tangled web of secrets, subterfuge, and sabotage awaits when the factions' opposing objectives and your characters' personal goals come into conflict! COMBAT. Beyond fierce warriors dispatched by the factions, all manner of otherworldly horrors inhabit Drakkenheim. Characters battle undead husks, predatory beasts, mutated monstrosities, and terrifying abominations produced by the mysterious meteor.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Welcome, adventurers, to the realm of pen, dice, and paper! I am your guide, a creative writer, game designer, and fervent enthusiast of role-playing games. My journey began over 35 years ago in a cabin in the woods, where I first rolled the dice as a player of Dungeons & Dragons. Since then, I've more often taken up the mantle of Dungeon Master, weaving tales and guiding heroes through countless adventures. Based in Florida, I share my life with my wonderful wife and our three adventurous 'hobbits'. Here, in the world of Tabletop RPGs, I believe the true magic lies in the Story, the Characters, and the Choices they make. These elements combine to create those unforgettable, truly epic moments that define our journeys. Join me, and let's embark on a narrative adventure where your choices shape the saga.

What Daniel Shelton brings to the table
I bring to the board a Foundry VTT License, a dedicated Foundry server, as well as many licensed products for 5E D&D. Further, I have access to all the official modules required and have further developed and improved upon them. In addition, I have spent considerable time recreating D&D into a ReForged version that allows for Class customization. Lastly, I have a wealth of knowledge and familiarity of TTRPGs as a DM so that you have a solid and positive experience in gameplay. I am an author that brings to the table a rich world in which to explore and I am a teacher that uses those skills to help players understand how the game is played.
Homebrew rules
I curated my House Rules with the aid of my current player base that culminated into D&D ReForged. This uses a chassis of D&D 5.5 but includes elements of prior editions like 5E, 3rd Ed, and more. The largest changes are four basic class types you can heavily customize, spell points instead of spell slots, and reworked Feats (with prior Class Features converted to Feats). Official document available upon joining.
