If you love exploring an immersive world and interacting with realistic and engaging characters, Egonaught's games are for you. He has a great eye for detail, and is good at telling a gritty story. I've had fun roleplaying and exploring his interesting environments. This does come at the cost of game speed however, so if you're more the type who plays for the combats and just wants to skip to the part where you kill the bad guys, this GM isn't for you. For example, we could spend quite some time bargaining with a shopkeeper, discussing happenings in the world, or having a talk with our enemies before we duke it out. The combats he does run have been quite challenging, and with all the buildup and setting the tone, are engaging, if infrequent. He has run several sessions of Dungeons of Drakkenheim for me and I am already invested to see how the story unfolds and see how the group's humble beginnings scraping for pennies will transform as we grow in power.
