About the adventure

The Draw of Death is a fast‑paced, cinematic one‑shot set in the hunting town of Berrington, where a monstrous creature erupts into the Silver Bear Saloon and throws the night into chaos. In the aftermath, a mysterious young girl begs for your help to flee the town before the guards arrives — and for your aid, she offers a chance to play a high‑stakes game promising incredible rewards… or devastating peril. I run immersive, character‑focused sessions with expressive NPCs, collaborative storytelling, and a welcoming table for both new and veteran players. If you want a one‑shot full of danger, mystery, and a gamble that could change your fate, this adventure is your next draw.

About me

I’ve been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years, both as a player and a Dungeon Master. In that time, I’ve run multi‑year campaigns that carried my players from level 1 all the way to level 10, as well as numerous one‑shots, mini‑arcs, and experimental sessions. Most of my experience is with D&D 5e and 5.5e, though I’ve also dipped into Pathfinder and enjoy exploring new systems. If you’re looking for a GM who brings energy, story depth, character focus, and a genuine love for the game, I’d be excited to run an adventure for you.

Safety

How GM Jasen creates a safe table

We will be going over safety rules before the game begins. This isn't a dark or graphic one-shot, so there should be any issues. If at any point during the game you do feel uncomfortable, please send me a message on discord and we can skip any scene that bothers you. I want to make sure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and are having fun.
