About me
I have been in love with telling stories for as long as I can remember. I'm an avid devourer of books, actual-play content, and home games with fellow GMs, and I blend all those experiences together to create vivid, immersive worlds in which you can splash around. My worlds and games are designed to elevate the stories of the characters who enter them, whether through RP or personal interaction with lore. I am a firm believer that everyone's story matters, and I am excited to provide space for you to explore yours.

Creating your character
Character creation will take place in Session 0. At that time, we'll establish whose backstories are entwined, whose are independent, and how your characters know each other.
⟢ Characters start at level 5.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Playing at my table is simple! You'll need a microphone and a webcam, a free account on D&D Beyond, and Discord. You can find campaign links for D&D Beyond and Owlbear Rodeo on my Discord server. You will not need any kind of account to play on Owlbear. Webcams are required. You may create your own character token using 2MinuteTabletop's custom token editor or I will create one for you. A link to that resource will be provided.
What SG Winter brings to the table
⟢ No dice? No problem! My Discord server has a digital dice tray brimming with RNG dice, and you are always welcome to use virtual dice on D&D Beyond or OBR instead. ⟢ I have pre-generated character sheets ready for use—all you have to do is ask! ⟢ All sessions include ambient music streamed through Discord. ⟢ All my owned content on D&D Beyond is available to characters built using our campaign link.
Homebrew rules
⟢ Drinking a potion takes a bonus action. Feeding it to a friend takes an action. ⟢ Making ranged attacks in melee with someone who isn't your target doesn't impose disadvantage.

How SG Winter creates a safe table
⟢ Session 0: We'll have a Session 0 for character creation, discussion of lines and veils, and collaboration on the overall tone of the story. Will this be a gritty quest to thwart terrible evils or a whimsical island adventure? The party will decide that here. ⟢ Lines and Veils: We'll discuss these in our Session 0. If you're uncomfortable sharing yours in a group setting, you may DM them to me on StartPlaying and I'll incorporate them quietly. ⟢ Open Door: If you need to step out for a few minutes for a mental health break or to resolve a real-life issue, you are welcome to do so. ⟢ Breaks: We'll take a ten-minute break near the middle of every session.
