About the adventure
It started when Skeg Durash came home looking like he’d spent three rounds losing to a brick wall. Black eye, split lip, the whole “Rocky Balboa stunt double” starter pack. He brushed it off. Said he slipped. Said it was nothing. Then he stopped coming home at all. Now his mother, a noblewoman with more fear than blood in her veins, has hired you to find him. No guards. No investigators. You. Because she needs people who can handle “delicate situations,” and apparently that’s what you look like. Skeg was working at Iced Delights, the local bakery. It is the last place you want to check. It is also the only place she insists you must check. She’s seen things. Strange things. Things she can’t explain without her voice cracking. And she’s certain the owner is involved in her son’s disappearance. From the outside, Iced Delights looks like the kind of place that wins “Best Bakery” awards from people who use words like quaint and charming. Customers come and go with smiles so wide they look painted on. The smell of fresh bread drifts into the street like a warm hug. It feels cozy just to look at it. However, once you look closer, are those smiles missing teeth? What’s that smell hiding under the cinnamon and sugar? Sweat? Iron? Fear? And those “accidents” on the staff, are those fresh bruises? Thuma says the first rule is don’t go into the back. Are you going to break that rule? If you’re the kind of adventurer who smells blood, grit, and more than a little cheese, then absolutely you are. This job will have you asking if the reward money is worth the risks. Rules and bones are meant to be broken, but glory lasts forever. Someone must save this lady’s son, and you’re the only adventurers here. Step inside Iced Delights. Breathe deep. And remember: the ovens aren’t the only things heating up!

About me
I’m a Word Slinger by trade, a storyteller by soul, and a forever GM by happy accident. I didn’t set out to live behind the screen—but once I caught the fever, I never looked back. That was over 15 years ago, before the first signs of snow settled into my beard. Since then, I’ve guided countless adventurers from their first d20 roll to legendary status. Some campaigns have lasted years, and I’ll keep the story alive as long as the table’s having fun. That’s my promise: if you’re invested, I’m all in. I specialize in immersive, emotionally resonant experiences tailored to each player. Subtle details, personalized arcs, and a welcoming atmosphere are my tools of the trade. Whether you’re new to roleplay or a seasoned thespian, I create a space where you can relax, explore, and connect with the story. I love theatrics—costumes, themed nights, and dramatic twists—but player comfort and safety always come first. Your enjoyment is the heart of every session. No matter the setting or system, my goal remains the same: to guide you through a memorable, meaningful adventure that leaves you eager for the next session.

Creating your character
Character will be made on DnD Beyond before starting the adventure. Once you sign up, you will have the link to the DnD Beyond Campaign where you can add or create your character. If you are new and prefer me to do so, I can make you an awesome character to play as. We will be running this adventure at level 3. If you need assistance or have questions, message me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use DnD Beyond for character creation and sheets. I also use their VTT, so it makes it easy for all of us. Create your character there, and we will add it to the campaign once you are signed up. If you do not know how to create a character, that is not an issue. Sign up, and I will be happy to walk you through it as much as you need me to. We will use Discord for the Audio and Video. You need a free account. The link to the server will be provided once you sign up for the adventure.
What Christopher brings to the table
For this dive into the sweetest nightmare in town, I’m bringing a table loaded with wild stunts, sharp turns, and the kind of over‑the‑top, Nicolas‑Cage‑level intensity you’d expect from a forgotten action flick with a sun‑bleached cover and a warning label that just says “Trust No One.” You’re not just playing heroes: you’re stepping into the lead role of a bakery‑flavored fever dream, where the smiles are too wide, the pastries are too perfect, and every door you’re not supposed to open practically begs you to kick it in. The Rule of Cool isn’t just allowed here; it’s baked into the dough! I run this tale with one goal: To give you something wild enough to remember long after the ovens cool and the last suspicious crumb hits the floor. If you want to interrogate a baker with a grin that doesn’t reach her eyes, chase down clues dusted in powdered sugar, or pull off a stunt so bold it makes the owner of Iced Delights rethink their entire life philosophy, I’m here for it. Your creativity doesn’t get boxed in at my table. It gets a spotlight, a drumroll, and a chance to charge headfirst into the mystery with the confidence of someone who absolutely should not be this confident. Bring your grit. Bring your chaos. Bring your inner Cage. I’ll bring the heat.

How Christopher creates a safe table
When you sign up for this adventure, you will have access to the Discord Server. There, you will fill out a consent form and send it back to me privately. This will allow me to know your comfort levels on all topics that may be sensitive. Also, I keep my private messages up during gameplay, which allows players to message me if they need a break or if a problem has arisen. I do not mind breaks as needed. My main goal in any game I run is for my players to have a positive experience. This cannot be achieved if someone does not feel included, comfortable, and safe.
