About the adventure
First session is free. Dear Adventurers, I invite you to the foregin lands of Barovia. My domain is plagued by a darkness that seeps into the land and it's people. We are proud and strong, I have attempted to handle this problem myself. However it seems I am in a stalemate. I request your presence, come to Barovia and the Barovia Village. At the Blood of the Vine Tavern, you shall expect to find a servant of mine who will explain in more detail. The reward for this accomplishment will be ten thousand gold and the undying gratitue of the Von Zarovich family line. I write this from my castle keep, in hopes it finds lands in which are civilized enough to be of aid. May your travels be safe and your blade arms strong for here the people have little love of magic. May the mists guide your way. -Strahd Von Zarovich

About me
I am a Player and DM of 6 years and constantly looking for opportunities to improve and explore. I enjoy playing D&D and willing to try other TTRPG's. I am mostly experienced in 5E D&D and 3.5E D&D. Creating your character
Characters are created on Dndbeyound, you can roll for stats once, use point buy or standard array. Will be starting at level 6 and running milestone. You will have starting equipment, one uncommon item and two healing potions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Will need a discord account at least and preferably at least a mic. I run my games mostly using the basic rules for DND5e, however I do enjoy it when my players surprise me.
What Heferrion brings to the table
I use a map maker when I don't have maps already provided. I use DnDBeyound to manage campaign character sheets and Abovevtt map manager. I do have custom items, tokens and monsters. I do try to use ambient music and voices for characters. Combat may range from chaotic randomness or highly important tactical. I enjoy the rule of cool and most things are achievable with a natural 20 but not everything. I value creativity and enjoy being surprised.

How Heferrion creates a safe table
In session 0 we will go over character creation and discuss the different safety techniques I use, any limits or phobias that might make a player uncomfortable. I hold sessions on discord in a server using voice chat usually and cam if available but cam is not required. Communication can be through text or voice.
