About the adventure
The second age of the land is one dominated by the battle for supremacy by the Immortal Bloodlines that arose at the end of the first age. All though they aren't truly immortal, Their youth outlasts any mortal being. Of the original 11 Bloodlines, only one remains as the rest of have been wiped out by new Bloodlines. The only original Bloodline left is of Gonfall, and they are the most powerful of the Bloodlines, and have been considered so for the last 112 almost 113 years. But in their territory, a place they have managed to keep unmarked by the endless wars, has the shadow of an evil plot against the family of Gonfall. Can the plot be revealed before it's too late, or will these forces of darkness manage to end the peace of the land. This is a campaign that will be full of twist and turns. The plot will involve a healthy amount of roleplay and combat. A trigger warning for this is that the campaign involves murder and threats of it. There are themes of Jealousy, Ego, and Deception. At it's core it's a Political Triller set in an age of War, so if that sounds appealing to you, I'm excited to bring you to the table. One more note I'd like to add is I use Milestone Progression for leveling up.

About me
Hey guys! I am Dave The Dungeon Master and I have been running my own homebrew games for over five years now. I normally like to run games in my own continuity as it allows my players to leave their mark on the world and shape the long history of it. I will run whatever a player wants of course and am open to new ideas. I do my best to create a table that everyone is welcome at no matter who they are and do not tolerate rude or mean behavior of any kind. I also am a new player friendly DM as more players means more people get to enjoy the game. I have a lot of experience with DMing online via Owlbear and Discord. I am also planning on learning more about D&D Beyonds VTT. All in all I love running games and want the opportunity to help others find enjoyment through this game like I do.

Creating your character
Starting at level 3 you will be playing as a group of friends or acquaintances in the border town called Clamary, located on the border of the Territory of Gonfall (Inside it) and the Central Lands. This is my own homebrew setting with a long running history spanning several ages, but this one is set in the second age and so your characters won't be strangers to war. Clamary acts as a stronghold of sorts for the land so fighting isn't new to you. Please bring characters that can do more than just fight though, I plan for a lot of roleplay opportunities for all my players. If you would prefer, we can make our characters during Session 0. This would allow us to make sure we have characters that best fit what this campaign will have instore for you all. Remember, any and all Homebrew must be approved by me first before it is brought to the table.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please come with access to Discord and D&D Beyond. I plan on running my game with both of these. Discord will be for communication proposes and D&D Beyond is for everything else, such as the VTT and Character Creation. I will enable content sharing on the campaign so you can have more options available to you as a player.
What Dave The Dungeon Master brings to the table
I always play music via Kenku FM and love to do voices for the many NPCs you will encounter on your journey. I like to use the Rule of Cool but also understand the value of Rules as Written. I also seek to provide a welcoming table that my players can feel free to be themselves.
Homebrew rules
I don't share information about the enemy you're fighting. Instead I use descriptive words to convey aspects of the monster together.

How Dave The Dungeon Master creates a safe table
I plan on setting clear and agreed upon boundaries by everyone at the table. If I catch a player crossing them, getting close to crossing them a lot, or if a player brings a matter to my attention, I will talk with player privately and find out what's going on and if they can remain apart of the group going forward.
