About the adventure
Ezrahn, Realm of Aether is a world of magic and mystery, swords and secrets - where anyone can suddenly find themselves on an epic adventure. The Immortals often walk amongst the mortals, vying to keep Chaos away from the denizens of this land they have created. Though some work alongside mortals to further the aims of Chaos in its war against the Void. The Aether that permeates every piece of Ezrahn and its inhabitants can surge, granting temporary or permanent bonuses or twisting those caught in its ethereal clutches. Do you dare answer the call of adventure in the wilds of Ezrahn, Realm of Aether? This adventure will start at level 1 and is perfect for new players getting into D&D, or veterans who want to explore a new, living world they can help shape with their actions. 30+ species are available from mighty DragonScions and Elementlings, to the Beastkin and Loyola, along with custom changes to the humans dwarves elves and such that you are familiar with. Backgrounds have all been customized and even a couple new ones to give you more capability to personalize the character you want to be, and if you don’t see something you like, let’s discuss it. This adventure will take place from 9/10am Central US Time until 1/2pm (we can hammer that out once we have a group, with a brief break in the middle. This would be every 3 weeks, unless we as a group can make it work with other days of the week in the intervening weeks.

About me
I’ve been playing D&D for almost 35 years but recently converting to 2024 from 3.5 (I skipped 4th). Utilizing my own homebrew world and fantasy writer experience to bring it and the adventure to life.

Creating your character
Character creation will be on DnDBeyond utilizing the homebrew races and backgrounds from the custom campaign link that will be linked below. Please utilize the website link for assistance if you wish to create your character ahead of time. Again, I will be available via Discord to discuss anything you wish clarification on. Stats are 4d6, drop the lowest. Characters will start at Level 1. I will have books shared for the 2024 set with respect to the base classes and spells. Species and Backgrounds are the homebrew section.

What Andrew Ferrell brings to the table
I have a lot of homebrew content on DNDbeyond (including 30+ playable races in Ezrahn), customized backgrounds, and some special subclasses and items available. Utilizing Discord voice for the chat. I also have foundry. I have custom maps and tokens that will be setup for the characters once we get past the initial session. I love RP and have a small range of voices that I will utilize to help with immersion. I am a fantasy writer who enjoys worldbuilding and very much capable of running Rule of Cool when necessary for story. In the end, the game is about fun. Let's have some fun and construct a great story.

Rules of Respect will be gone over as well as cover some homebrew rules for the setting. If there are any questions ahead of time, the discord channel linked below is available at all times and I pop in there multiple times a day.
