About the adventure
The world didn't end with a bang; it ended with an endless shadow. Ragnarok has passed, leaving behind a land choked by soot and a relentless rain of grey ash. The sun has been lost and replaced with the burning heavens above. In the ruins of Queens, survival is a desperate, collective gasp for air. While legends of the Windwalkers, mythical saviors promised to clear the skies, are whispered to children in bed, the reality is much colder. At the heart of the waste stands the Obsidian Obelisk, a dark monument to the last king’s failed attack and the divine retribution that leveled his lands. Today, Queens is a divided corpse. Outside, nomads barter in the dust; inside the "Ash-free" Central Business District, Humans and Elves live in a filtered paradise. Your objective is simple, yet suicidal: Infiltrate the CBD research facility and extract a prototype device that could change everything.

About me
I have always wanted to collaborate on stories and ttrpgs are perfect. I love political intrigue, well written dialogue and fantastical worlds. In saying that the cyberpunk sci fi future of warnings of our current climate is incredibly intriguing and playing a game in all these different worlds. Also love a bit of home-brew.

Creating your character
We will just need you to join a Discord and create your character in the Dndbeyond campaign. From there a bit of an introduction and I will be able to place you in the story with the other players. Please use the Knife theory if you are aware of it by providing me with things that I can use to emotionally affect your character.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use Discord and Owlbear. I have a campaign in dndbeyond you can create a character using my access. I will happily help guide you through creating your character and confirming session zero consent and confirmation. We will have the ability to roll our stats in the discord. Instructions and help guaranteed, batteries not included
What Lachlan brings to the table
In-depth world building with posts everyday. Character building, emotional moments and hilarious jokes. I will help create a character you feel proud and excited to play. I welcome anyone who is ready to be engaged, adventurous and willing to help create and amazing story together.
Homebrew rules
I will be using combat as an extreme measure. More often than not there will be ways to sneak, bribe and talk your way out of situations. When combat does come into play it will be more than just beat up the bad guys there will always be more at play and several elements required to deal with the situation.
