About the adventure

This is a Beta Test for a possible homebrew campaign. A caravan has gone missing. Not delayed. Not rerouted. Gone. Along the Roads of Aetherra, rune-powered wagons carry people, trade, and entire communities across vast distances. These caravans are lifelines—carefully maintained, magically stabilized, and rarely lost. So when one fails to arrive… People notice. And when it’s finally found— Something is very wrong. 🎲 About the Game This is a Level 1 mini-arc adventure focused on: Story-driven roleplay Exploration and mystery Meaningful choices Beginner-friendly gameplay You’ll uncover what happened to the caravan while navigating a world where magic behaves more like machinery—and sometimes breaks in dangerous ways. 🧭 What to Expect A strong narrative opening (no tavern start) A party with shared connections from Session 0 A mix of investigation, exploration, and tension Combat that matters—not constant grinding A living world that reacts to your decisions This is not just a mission. It’s a mystery. 🌍 The Setting The Roads of Aetherra are powered by rune-driven wagons that glide across unseen magical currents. But something is changing. Routes fail. Runes flicker. And sometimes… They stop working entirely.
