It's a dark world where all living things are cursed with a "soul blight", doomed to eventually become an umbral touched-monstrosity when they meet their natural or unnatural end. Dwelled in by the few remaining living beings known as the Enduring, band together to shed light on the root of this curse upon the realm of Halcyon, or succumb to the Umbra.. Maps are hosted on Owlbear Rodeo, an easy to use VTT that works well with mobile too; This setup ensures that no matter what your setup is, you get the full experience! This game is open to players of all experiences as well. DISCLAIMER: All of the content in this campaign is prepared and ran from official material, 3rd party supplements, & homebrewed creations. Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be made on https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/daggerheart , with resources for the system being managed via a Discord text channel. Character sheets can be worked on beforehand, but details will be finalized during the (free) Session 0. You are free to come up with your character before Session 0, or have an idea, but the S0 itself is where character sheets will be filled out.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Character sheets will be hosted on Demiplane (https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/daggerheart), you will need to create an account if you don't have one. Daggerheart's Core Rules are hosted there, and 3rd party options will be possible once you join the campaign via invite. Voice communications will be hosted on a Discord Group Chat. Server invites will be sent on joining the game! Sessions will be using Owlbear Rodeo VTT, invites will be in the campaign details.

What Lens brings to the table

I utilize voices for NPC's, making each one unique for the players! As a big map enthusiast, you will almost always have some form of visual aid for clarity. Music and ambience will also be used for immersion. - A "cutscene"-like experience with narrative. - Expect a Rule of Cool GM mentality, with a big emphasis on player freedom and creativity!

How Lens creates a safe table

We will use the "X" system for unwanted content. If a theme, part of the story, or anything present in the campaign makes you uncomfortable, post an "X" in Talespire chat, Discord, or DM's, and it will be dropped/changed no questions asked. Your concerns and requests are valid at my table. After session, there is an optional debriefing, where we touch base on where the campaign is, and any potential changes you would like to see. As a GM, I do my best to make every single player feel included; If I don't hear anything from a certain player, I'll go out of my way to help you get involved in the story and enjoy yourself!
