About the adventure

In the year 2030 The Musk Lord used SpaceX Bots to conquer Earth. He built an infrastructure that connected all major cities, essentially making 2/3rds of the Earth into one city. In 2040 a group of people with special powers started a rebellion and defeated The Musk Lord. They faced a world on the brink of being unhabitable. Using their powers Heroes such as Ivy and WeatherMan managed to rebuild the atmosphere; building parks and lakes. In the year 2065 a meteor crash landed in the middle of New York's Central Park. The meteor released a particle that intensified new heroes power. People transformed into monsters and new more powerful villains rose with their own ideas of how the world should be. The Bronze Age of Heroes officially started in 2075 with the arrival of The Aftermath. A Hero who refused to combat monsters and villains, but instead focused on fixing the damage such battles wrought upon the citizenry. The Aftermath changed the conversation about Hero responsibility. Now a new class of super heroes stands on the precipice of their own stories. How they will change the conversation, what threats they will face, what impact they will have is a question the world watches with baited breathe.

About me

Hi! I've been Gming ttrpgs for 31 years, and I love it. I build open worlds that shift and change around the players; where you can go anywhere and adventure is just around the corner. I excel at helping players build backstories and weaving them into the game. As a GM I truly believe that the table top is about bringing the player's story to life, and making that happen is my favorite part of ttrpg. It's important to me to run an inclusive, safe table. To that I end I employ session zero, a discord, open discussion policy, a zero tolerance of bigotry policy. Politics are inevitable in an rpg game, however hate has no place.

What Alice brings to the table

SO I'm a very open world DM. We'll explore Halcyon City together. I'm very Theatre of the Mind. Only brining out battlemaps when combat begins. I like to keep a safe table so while I expect this game to touch on politics and while it is impossible to separate the politics that define our modern society from the identity of our heroes this is gonna be set in 2090, under a hopefully more enlightened society. Leave the racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, any other discrimination to the villains.

How Alice creates a safe table

This is a live game. That means that subject matter of all kinds will come up. This is a game of self discovery, the evolution of teenager to adult. This means that uncomfortable conversations are a part of the fun. However that said, this is a safe space to explore these themes. This means that boundaries when set need to be respected. If a scene becomes too much anyone can ask for the scene to fade to dark and no questions will be asked, and no shame will be levied. Other safety tools I apply are breaks, and for especially emotional scenes aftercare check ins. And as always remember to leave any misogyny, racism, homophobia, transphobia, abilism, or other discrimination to the villains. You're a Hero. Stand for a better life.
