About the adventure

Driven from lands farther north by more powerful dragons, a young white dragon named Cryovain has descended upon the Sword Mountains, claiming the snow-capped range as its domain. Typical of its kind, Cryovain is dim-witted and cruel. The dragon patrols the skies around Icespire Peak, surveying its territory while hunting for food and easy treasure. With each passing day, the dragon’s domain grows as it ranges farther across the land, preying on anything it can catch with its claws or freeze to death with its icy breath. Sightings of the dragon are becoming more common, as are its attacks. Find out why the dragon left the mountain peaks and discover the horrific aftermath of what the dragon is leaving around the kingdom that you have to clean up.

About me

I discovered DnD through friends over a few years ago. I have participated in many one shots and a dozen campaigns. I have grown to enjoy the game and decided I wanted to do my part and host games so others can learn to play same as me. I am very aware this is a fantasy game where almost anything goes, so the rule of cool applies and lot of jokes are to be expected. I am also well aware my voice sounds similar to the late Norm McDonald.

Safety

How (KniF3skilZ) creates a safe table

1) Respect above all is key. Regardless of issues that may arise, I believe we can communicate them with respect. Escalating the issue is no way to solve a problem. 2) Understanding. Sometimes people may say or do something that they do not know or realize may be offensive. This is why rule #1 is important, because not everyone grew up the same way or has had the same experiences. Not everyone shares the same point of views and that is ok. We are here to play a game and have a good time. 3) Fairness. I will do my best to keep all my rulings fair. At the end of the day I do ask that you respect "DM Ruling is Law" but at the same time, I will also listen to any arguments you may have before I make a final ruling. I do enjoy good employment of the "Rule of Cool". 4) Appropriate content. Certain topics are just simply not ok to bring up. I get the whole "flirting bard" trope and if that's what you want to play then fine, I have no problems with it. But things do not have to get overly sexual/detailed beyond reason. There are other games for that and I can always run that for you if that's what you want. This is simply not the game for that. Also, drugs and such exist and I get that. Again, how you want to play your character is up to you. But extreme detail is not needed either. I will also be foregoing those kind of descriptions for the most save for setting very specific scenes. Spoilers can always be utilized for details that may be triggering/offensive to people as long as it is not a gratuitous amount. 5) Triggering content. This ties into rule #4 a bit. There are certain subjects I do not utilize and I do my best to give forewarning if there might be something I post that are triggering for some. I want this to be a fun and safe space for everyone. I utilize the "X,N,O" cards for safety. X=Stop immediately N=Situation is approaching an "X" O=Everything is OK. At times I may ask how everyone is doing and you can either react to the message or DM me personally. Whichever you feel most comfortable with. If you do react with anything other than an "O" I will follow-up with a DM to you so that we can move things around accordingly. You may always use these reactions when necessary. If you wish to communicate concerns or issues in any other manner you are more than welcome to do so. 6) Remember, have fun. That's what we're all here for right? If for whatever reason you feel you aren't, please talk to me. Tell me what's going on. I want to do what I can to help make this an enjoyable experience for everyone.
