About the adventure
Players and dungeon masters have been building Theras as a shared world since 2009, and in that time hundreds of folks have told incredible stories in the frigid northern Umbria, in the pirate isles of Avacia, building and warring for Eastern Tyrwhin, and exploring the Dragon Kingdoms of Exarona. What's next? This adventure will focus on a group of locals from the Golden City of Val Vanath - capital of the golden kingdom of Eriash and most famous city of the dragon kingdoms.

About me
Hi, I'm Tom, I've been a DM for almost twenty years now, and I've been running games for an ever-expanding group of friends in the community built and driven world of Theras since 2009. I'm proud to have volunteered for Hope for the Warriors from 2021-2024, in that time running games for The Lucky Seven (levels 1-20 in 100+ games over 4 years!), The Stank Squad (three adventurous seasons!), and their Spelljammer cousins The Freshly Scrubbed Clean Gang. I have dozens of completed campaigns that I would love to shout out here, from Rock Bottom Crew to TIGER MAFIA, LLC to many many more. Instead, however, I'll invite you to join one of our games and find your spot in our community! Creating your character
Use the Charactermancer in Roll20 to create a level 1 character using the Point Buy system for ability scores. We have (almost? or actually) every option unlocked that is Wizards of the Coast official or made by commonly respected friendly sources like MCDM or Griffon's Saddlebag.

What DM Tom brings to the table
My Roll20 compendium has everything 2014 & 2024 unlocked. We'll play in Zoom or Discord, and I will record and upload the recordings for us. Hang out and chat in the discord as well, DM elle & I run other games for the community.

How DM Tom creates a safe table
Session Zero we will go over the player roleplay expectations. We plan for two 10-minute breaks during a 3-4 hour game, during which you are welcome to message me. We'll debrief after each game. We have Stars & Wishes channel on our Discord server, and you are invited to message me at any time if you have any concerns about the game, the subject matter, player behavior, or personal concerns.
