About the adventure
A Harrison Armory corvette has gone dark over the storm-wracked jungles of Engiri. You’ve been hired, quietly, to find it, recover what’s inside, and disappear before the wrong people start asking questions. The air is thick with secrets, and out here, even the jungle seems to hum with tension. This one-shot adventure drops you into a vibrant, dangerous world of mechs, mercenaries, and corporate intrigue. You’ll pilot massive combat frames through dense jungle, chase leads across a sprawling tropical city, and uncover what really happened to the missing ship. Perfect for new or curious players, this game uses pre-built mechs and characters, no prep or rules mastery needed. I’ll guide you through everything from narrative to combat so you can focus on the story, the action, and your squad’s choices.

About me
I’m a GM who thrives on strategy, creativity, and cinematic moments under pressure. I design encounters that challenge players to think, collaborate, and take bold risks, whether fine-tuning a mech in Lancer or exploring mythic realms in Bastionland. I’m fair and balanced, rewarding smart, heroic, or clever play, letting players learn from mistakes, and always keeping fun front and centre. My games are immersive, tactical, and story-driven, with every choice carrying weight and every session crafted to be exciting, memorable, and rewarding.

Creating your character
For this mission, all players will choose from a roster of pre-generated characters, each with a unique role and specialised GMS chassis. Pick a character that matches your preferred playstyle and get ready to dive straight into the action. Squad Leader Redeye – A melee bruiser piloting a GMS Sagarmatha, leading the charge in close-quarters combat. Heavy Support Snub – Pilots a GMS Everest, carrying a massive gun for heavy firepower and area denial. Hacker Sandman – An E-war specialist aboard a GMS Chomolungma, disrupting enemy systems and controlling the battlefield. Close Fire Support Chivalric – In a GMS Sagarmatha, focuses on suppressive fire to keep enemies pinned and support allies. Assault Specialist Black Hole – Pilots a flexible GMS Everest with a shotgun, excelling at aggressive flanking and adaptable combat. E-Security Specialist Cabernet – Uses a GMS Chomolungma to provide support, defensive systems, and tactical battlefield management for the squad.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before the game begins, players should make sure they have the following ready. You’ll need a Discord account, as all sessions will use Discord for voice and communication. Make sure your microphone is working and you’re familiar with basic Discord functions like mute/unmute and push-to-talk if needed. You’ll also need Chrome for Foundry Virtual Tabletop, which works best in this browser. Make sure it’s installed and updated to the latest version, and that hardware acceleration is enabled. Other browsers may work, but Chrome ensures the smoothest experience. Finally, you’ll need to join the Discord server for this campaign. Instructions and an invite link will be provided once you’ve booked your seat. No additional preparation is required. All characters and mechs are pre-generated, and all rules will be guided by the GM during play. Just bring your focus, curiosity, and readiness for action!
What Quiescent Solun brings to the table
As the GM, my primary goal is to help you learn and enjoy Lancer while diving into the story and action. All characters and mechs are pre-generated, so you won’t need to worry about building or optimising anything. I’ll guide you through all the rules, mechanics, and tactical options as they come up, helping you understand how the system works in real-time so you can focus on strategy, teamwork, and roleplay. Expect an immersive experience: I use voice acting and character voices for key NPCs, and I enhance scenes with ambient music and sound effects to match the mood of the jungle, city, or combat. Combat is tactical and engaging, but I embrace the Rule of Cool, if you have a creative idea or bold maneuver, I’ll work with you to make it exciting and cinematic, while also showing how Lancer handles such moments. You can expect a GM style that is friendly, narrative-focused, and adaptable. My goal is to teach you Lancer through play, encourage creativity and teamwork, and ensure everyone at the table has fun while discovering the system’s depth and possibilities.

How Quiescent Solun creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are a top priority. Before the session, you’ll be sent a Google Sheet with Lines and Veils options so you can indicate any content you’d like to avoid or handle carefully. This lets you set boundaries privately and at your own pace before play begins. During the session, we’ll respect those choices fully. If anything comes up that feels uncomfortable, you can signal digitally through chat or messages to pause, skip, or adjust a scene.
