About the adventure
The forge-city burns behind you. Dragonfire and falling stone have reduced Li Mo Fo to ash, and those who survived now cling to the decks of the Knife’s Edge—a pirate sandship cutting across a Veil-wracked desert that does not forgive the weak. The wounded cry out, tempers flare, and something far more dangerous than steel travels with you: four living fragments of a destiny no one fully understands. As the Veil itself begins to twist and rage, the ship is pushed to its limits. Reality bends. Systems fail. And in the chaos, the question becomes clear—will you hold this fragile vessel together, or watch it tear itself apart from within? This is a high-level D&D one-shot where your choices shape not just survival—but the future of the land. Survive the storm. Steady the ship. Decide what future sails with you.

About me
I've been a game master since 1984. I have run D&D, Space Master, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu, and Paranoia. I wrote and published my own game system (Paradox RPG) in 1996. I write my own adventures, as well as adopt and modify existing adventures. No two of my games are ever the same. I do this for a hobby. I do this for the love of the game. I would love for you to join me.

Creating your character
I will have all the resources and information necessary to create your character listed in my discord server. We will create the characters in D&D Beyond and import them into Foundry. I will launch Foundry VTT 30 minutes prior to game start and give a quick tutorial on how to use Foundry prior to starting time.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Participants should have the following items: 1. Microphone (a laptop mic suffices in a pinch). 2. Discord account (it's free—utilized for game planning and voice/video chat during the session). 3. Webcam (optional but encouraged!). 4. D&D Beyond Account (it's free—utilized for building characters).

How Faight creates a safe table
This is a fantasy adventure, so the bad guys will do bad guy things. Your characters will be confronted with unsettling situations and empowered to overcome them. There will be no gratuitous engagement in these topics, but they will arise. I am happy to take breaks and use tools like "Fade to Black" to reduce any discomfort.
