Stranger Things Welcome to the Hellfire Club

Stranger Things Welcome to the Hellfire Club

The Hellfire Club started as a haven for outsiders, free spirits, & dice-slingers. But Eddie Munson's final campaign was left unfinished...until now.

About the adventure

By the power of Hellfire! Together with your crew, take on challenges hotter than Hellfire – from gnarly battles with Demogorgons and Demodogs, eerie dockside murders, and the treacherous Vale of Shadows. Grab your snacks, invite your buddies, and gather round the table to get rocking and rolling on psychedelic adventures. This is a place where everyone is welcome.

About me

Hello, misadventurers! I've been running games since 2014 and have several years of performance experience as the Dungeon Master on the family-friendly podcast, d20 Dames which ran from 2017-2023. When I'm not running games, I'm a freelance game designer and author at my owner-operated company, Steampunk Unicorn Studio. I've worked for clients such as Hasbro, Larian Studios, Wizards of the Coast, MCDM, Hit Point Press, and Roll & Play Press, and my game credits include: Blood in Baldur’s Gate, Betrayal at House on the Hill 3E, HeroQuest, and Divinity Original Sin the Board Game. My latest book, How to Be More D&D (Running Press Books), is an officially licensed publication through Dungeons & Dragons (Wizards of the Coast) and I was also a Creative Laureate with the Storytelling Collective in 2022.

Character creation

Creating your character

Pre-generated characters will be provided. Please reach out ahead of the game if you have any questions.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a mic and headset for Discord. Webcam is optional. A beginner level understanding of D&D 5E rules is necessary to play the game but I'm happy to help newer players learn as we go. You will need your character sheet and dice (either physical or virtual depending on your preferences).

What Kat Kruger brings to the table

I will provide access to D&D Beyond as well as a private Discord server in which to play the game.

Safety

How Kat Kruger creates a safe table

An RPG Consent Checklist will be sent ahead of the first session. Safety tools are discussed before the campaign begins. Generally speaking I do not describe gore in gruesome detail.
