About the adventure
The War of Lennar has begun. For centuries, the great kingdoms of the realm honored the ancient Pact of Scales and Steel—an unbreakable bond that kept fragile peace across the land. Lords and warriors from every realm once rode together, shared council tables, and defended common borders against greater threats. But greed and old grudges have finally shattered that harmony. A border skirmish escalated into betrayal when an envoy was slain under a banner of truce, and now the skies above Lennar burn with sorcerous fire while the armies of men muster in glittering ranks of steel and faith. Across the fractured heartlands, once-allied banners now fly against each other. Kingdoms that once shared trade routes and wedding feasts now rally their levies and holy orders, their plate-armored knights forming iron walls against the spells and blades of their former brothers-in-arms. Arcane legions descend from towering citadels and volcanic strongholds in vengeful hordes, unleashing bolts of flame that turn fields to ash and melt siege engines where they stand. Villages that once traded peacefully now lie in smoldering ruins, their survivors whispering of knightly charges and devastating raids in the same breath. The realm stands divided and bleeding. Great castles that once flew united colors now prepare for siege as spell-weavers hurl destruction from above and warhosts march beneath billowing standards. Ancient oaths lie broken, old friendships turned to bitter hatred, and the very ground of Lennar trembles beneath the boots of marching soldiers and the roar of clashing magic. No one yet knows who will claim victory, but all agree on one terrible truth: the age of uneasy peace is over, and only war remains.

Creating your character
Players wanted to make their characters before the first session using DnD 5E rules for 2024. The characters will need to be level three. They will need to use the link when they book for the first session that’ll be provided for them for D&D Beyond for the campaign that they can use to create their character so I can see how they create their character, etc..
For this campaign, you’ll need a level three character. I would note that this game will be called that heavy and there’ll be a lot of battles.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to use discord and D&D Beyond. I’ll create their characters on D&D Beyond and I will have a link set up when they join the game to create their characters and they’ll join discord so we can chat if you need me at all.
What David brings to the table
I will utilize character voices, and I will also offer music occasionally to help the mood at times and I will put in some fun, twisting options that will make battle more fun and realistic, and I’ll throw in a little bit of comedy because he can’t be at Indy game without a little bit of comedy in action action
Homebrew rules
Find familiar spell can be used to bond with a creature and gain the same benefits from the spell except it is an actual creature but the creature challenge rating must be 1/8xp or under

How David creates a safe table
I will let them know that they can ask me to move to a different topic that’s not something you like. But also, I will enforce the role no PVP no fighting other players. That will not be tolerated and letting him know this is a safe space and we respect each other’s feelings. Etc
