About the adventure
Improve your game by learning improv. In this beginner roleplaying improv class you will learn core improv skills like active listening, decision making, making deeper characters, taking turns, supporting your party and learning to play like you did when you were a kid. Go beyond "Yes, and..." This six week class will use improv exercises to highlight important skill you need take your games to places you could never imagine on your own. We will explore the following topics; Week 1 - Learning to Play (like a kid) - Finding Your Characte Week 2- Learing to React Week 3 - Learning to Listen Week 4 - Learning when to join the game Week 5 - Putting it all together But wait, that's only 5 weeks. Yep. Week 6 - You Be You (Play Your Character. For session 6 we will play as our characters in a game of FATE that we as a group will have built the foundations for in the 1st 5 weeks. Think of it was our graduation game. We will record the session and you can share with your home games.

About me
Hey-Howdy Everybody! I am Dave, the DM from Leaders N Legacies, a 5e D&D podcast. I returned to D&D in 2018 after 20 years of performing and instructing improvisation with a troop here in the DC area. I came back to roleplay because it's a performance stage open to all and it is just plain amazing to see how different people respond to the same scenarios. As a DM I like to focus on FUN. Combat, Roleplay and Exploration merge together to create narratives/stories we can all enjoy. At the end of the day if we aren't having fun something is going very wrong. We will do this together by creating a space where everyone is comfortable and safe to explore. We will do this using source books of existing adventures (Wizards of the Coast, Kobold Press, GMsGuild, etc.). For now I use Roll20 and DNDBeyond (and Discord) to bring my games together.
