That's what the dice are for! It took me a long time to try D&D because I was too anxious, so I do everything I can to make sure my players feel comfortable at the table 💖 Last but not least, this is not Critical Role. Even though we are playing a Critical Role adventure, I want to stress that I am not Matt Mercer and you are not professional actors. Our game won't be the same as what one sees in Critical Role. I'm okay with that and I hope you are too!

About me
🏳️🌈 I always had trouble answering the question, "What is your passion?" That is, until I started playing D&D 5 years ago. It quickly became an obsession and once I switched from player to DM there was no going back to life without it. I’ve been DM-ing for 4 years now, both in person and online. All I want is more D&D in my life! My table is welcoming, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ friendly. I want everyone to feel safe, respected, and excited to show up and play. Whether you’re newer to the game or very experienced, my goal is to create a collaborative space where we can tell a good story together. It took me so long to try D&D because of my social anxiety and I don't want that to be the reason anyone else is hesitant to play. I want to use my GM earnings to buy and share more content on D&D Beyond so my players have access to more options and resources! I do this as a part-time job to cover student loans, but if there is a D&D Beyond resource you would like access to for one of my campaigns I will gladly add it to my library(within reason, of course).

I am more than happy to help you with the process. I ask that character creation be collaborative. Feel free to come to the table with some ideas, and we can work together to make sure it's a fit for the story! If you're eager to get started on character creation or need any assistance, reach out to me on Discord and I will gladly help. This is one of my favorite parts of starting a new adventure 😊 There are backgrounds unique to Exandria. Once you are added to the Discord server I will give you the list. You are welcome to use them or one of the traditional backgrounds. Species: Anything from the PHB and Exandria is fair-game, as well as the new "Feathren" species from Griffin's Saddlebag. Bugbear, duergar, goblin, hobgoblin, kobold, lizardfolk, and minotaur are also setting appropriate. If there is something else you are interested in, just shoot me a message and I'll let you know if it would be allowed! Other settings to know: ☑️2024 rules ☑️Rolled HP (minimum of average) ☑️No encumbrance ☑️Use prerequisites for feats and multiclass ☑️Milestone levels As stated in my safety rules, no characters that are explicitly evil or selfish. How Laura creates a safe table

If you want to check it out beforehand, this is the site: https://app.demiplane.com/dops ❌ The X Card: The X Card can be used at any point in the game to remove content that someone at the table finds uncomfortable, triggering, or deals with subject matter they don’t want to get into. Because we are online, the most effective way to use the X card is to say "X Card" out loud. You may also type it into chat or cross your arms(if on video). If an X card is played, I will clarify what content they are playing the X Card for, and the group will change, retcon, or delete the content as needed. The X Card player does not have to explain why they played it, and no one at the table can argue against the X Card being played. ⛔Zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. This includes breaking safety and consent lines. By joining you agree to the following: 🔹 I wont attack other players or steal from them (PVP) 🔹 I will not play a character who is explicitly evil or selfish 🔹 I will respect the narrative consent of others and be a team player 🔹 I promise not to engage in problematic play and I will come to the table with a great attitude
