Creating your character

Character Creation can be handled privately or through a guided process by yours truly! This can be done whenever free time can be found, and character sheets will be handled via a combination of D&D Beyond and Foundry VTT⚔️

Preparing for the session

Players will need: * A stable internet connection! * A device capable of handling Foundry VTT! * A working Microphone (webcam is optional)! * A Discord account. * The desire for adventure and the willingness to forge bonds as you gain glory and fame!

Homebrew rules

⚔️Glory & Renown: Two new spendable currencies that are earned through winning fights, fulfilling special conditions, and spreading your name to every corner of the plane! These two currencies can be spent to improve fights in your favour, barter for new equipment, and even to manipulate the politics of the Eternal Game itself! 💀Private Death Saves: Intense moments should remain intense, and with hidden Death Saves, the party must act quickly to help a fallen comrade! 👏Audience Inspiration: Earn Inspiration points in the heat of battle, alongside other buffs! Get the spectators on your side by performing feats such as Glory Kills and Showboating! 🧪Bonus Action Potion Drinking: Don't spend 6 seconds drinking a potion when you could spend half that time downing it in the heat of battle!

How Kobold Kaverns (GM Mike) creates a safe table

⭐- Play Safety Deck: Players will have access to a Safety Deck within Foundry VTT that will allow them to pause, fade to black, or fast forward gameplay (amongst other things) should the players feel uncomfortable in any way. Use of this Safety Deck is anonymous and is a great tool used in all of my games! ⭐ - Open Door Policy: Real Life comes first - life happens, and that’s okay! My open-door policy means you can leave the game at any time for any reason-no questions asked, no pressure, no negative repercussions. Whether it's because of an emergency, discomfort, or simply because you're not enjoying the session, your well-being always comes first. I want you to know that your participation is always valued, but there’s no obligation to stay if real life calls or if the game’s not working for you. ⭐ - Our Gameplay: You can look forward to deep, narrative-driven sessions where character development, interaction, and teamwork are central. The world will present tactical challenges, and your decisions will have meaningful consequences-so think ahead! While I want you to have fun, when your character steps into a fire, expect them to get burned. The balance between risk and reward will drive much of the experience, and I’ll do my best to keep you on your toes!
