About me
I've been playing various forms of role-playing games formally for more than 2 decades, including online, written, table top, and more, while informally, I've been playing and performing roles all my life. I love creating and sharing stories, all the more so when the players truly become part of the world by surprising me with their choices. Professionally, I have a background in history and am a recently-recovering educator, and I bring both to the gaming table by helping players learn the game and developing unique and non-standard worlds and stories while using a teach-as-we-go method for new players.

Creating your character
Players will be provided with a character creation tool, and are encouraged to consider concepts prior to Session Zero. When we come together, players will share their concepts and finalize their characters. Players have a wide latitude in character creation, but should plan on leaning into the group and the story we are telling together.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have, at minimum, a working mic, and a system capable of running Roll20. We will use Discord for our sessions as well as for out-of-character / downtime discussions.
What Delphi brings to the table
I will bring everything else, including a great story and unique setting for our adventure! Be ready for a great time.
Homebrew rules
This game features a narrative based system that is wide reaching. Most all actions and story beats can be achieved within the framework of the system, but situations may be considered on case-by-case basis.

How Delphi creates a safe table
This game features a whimsical and occasionally wacky fairytale land that must deal with the dangers living between dream and reality. Themes of reality, dreaming, fear, uncertainty, and folk horror are expected. This game is generally rated PG-13, with a live-play warning. Players will be given a Lines and Veils document that outlines their personal limits for the game, and all players have access to X cards at all times.
