About the adventure
The Harvest Moon rises, and with it comes the most important night of the year: the Autumn Equinox. As apprentice witches, you have been invited to take part in the Trials that will determine your place in the coven. Under lantern light and moonlit trees, you will face challenges of craft, courage, and cunning, proving not only your magical skill but your ability to work together. This one-shot is a whimsical and slightly spooky autumn adventure filled with enchanted woods, mysterious forces, and rituals by firelight. The tone leans cozy but magical: expect glowing lanterns, crackling bonfires, and the rustle of leaves in the dark, along with just enough danger to keep you on your toes. The Autumn Equinox Trials is designed for level 3 characters, with space for 3–6 players. The adventure runs in about three to four hours and is especially welcoming to new players, whether you are brand new to D&D or simply want a seasonal one-shot with an easy entry point. You may create your own character or choose from a selection of 12 premade witches, each with their own unique style and personality. Everyone is welcome at this table, including all genders, LGBTQIA+ players, and people of colour. My focus is on creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can feel comfortable sharing in the magic of the story. So bring your hat, light your lantern, and join us as we step into the autumn woods. The Trials await. Will you prove yourself beneath the Harvest Moon?

About me
Hi there! I’m Vee, and I've been running games as a Game Master for about seven years now. I love crafting immersive, character-driven adventures that emphasize deep storytelling, meaningful connections, and collaborative creativity. At my table, your character’s journey is at the heart of everything, and your choices actively shape the world and narrative around you. My games are perfect for players who enjoy roleplaying, exploring personal story arcs, engaging in dynamic interactions, and uncovering thrilling narrative twists. I aim to create a welcoming, inclusive, and richly detailed environment where everyone feels free to fully explore their characters and contribute to an evolving story. I’m excited to meet your character and dive into their adventures with you, so let's build some unforgettable stories together! What You Can Expect at My Table - A safe and inclusive environment (LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-friendly) - Roleplay-focused gameplay where your character’s story truly matters - Collaborative storytelling where creativity and player agency are encouraged - Welcoming atmosphere for both new and experienced players Looking for a Game? Take a look at my listed games, or reach out directly if you're interested in a custom campaign or one-shot. I'm always happy to chat and help you find the perfect game! More About Me (Beyond the Dice!) I’m 37 years old, currently living in Canada, and have been passionate about storytelling and roleplay since I was about 11. My journey started in Pokémon chatrooms before moving onto forum-based RPGs across various fandoms (Harry Potter, Star Wars, X-Men, general fantasy, anything that sparked my imagination!). I discovered tabletop RPGs through D&D 5e in 2018 and haven't looked back. These days, I play and run a variety of games and love supporting players as they tell meaningful, character-focused stories. If you enjoy roleplay-driven adventures filled with rich storytelling and meaningful character moments, I’d love to roll some dice together! 🎲

Creating your character
We'll be playing level 3 characters. You are welcome to create your own character or choose from one of the 12 premade witches provided, each with their own unique style and personality. If you’d like to make your own character: • Allowed Classes: All original material caster classes are welcome. • Subclasses: Official material. Third-party subclasses may be approved on a case-by-case basis, but just check in with me first. • Ability Scores: Point Buy. • Books/Rules: Stick to official published material. Homebrew content can be discussed if it fits the theme. Character creation happens before the session so we can dive right into the adventure at the table. If you'd like to create a character, contact me through SPG and/or Discord before we start. If you choose a premade, you can simply select one on game day.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before the game, please make sure you have the following: • Discord account – We’ll use this for voice chat and to go over character creation if you choose to make your own. • Microphone / Headset – A clear mic helps everyone enjoy the game. A headset is appreciated to cut down on background noise. Cameras are optional. • Character sheet – You may bring your own level 3 caster or pick from the 12 premade witches on game day. • If you are making your own character, you will do so on D&D Beyond. I will send you a link for character creation ahead of time. I am also happy to help! • Foundry VTT access – The adventure will be run through Foundry. You do not need to make an account or download anything. I’ll provide you with a link to join directly in your browser. That’s it! Just bring your sense of wonder, and get ready to step beneath the Harvest Moon.
What Vee brings to the table
I want this game to feel like stepping into a storybook that mixes cozy autumn magic with just the right touch of mystery. To bring that to life, I provide: • Music and ambient sound to set the mood, from cozy festival tunes to eerie forest soundscapes. • Custom images of NPCs and locations so you can see the people and places you meet along the way. • Battle maps and scene images that capture key moments, whether it’s exploring a lantern-lit forest path or standing before the ritual circle. My GM style focuses on collaborative storytelling and roleplay first. I encourage creativity and welcome the Rule of Cool when it makes the story more fun. Combat will be present, and it’s there to challenge you, but not slow down the story. Expect a game that is beginner-friendly, inclusive, and welcoming of all play styles, whether you love digging into character voices, exploring magical mysteries, or just sharing in a whimsical autumn adventure with friends.

How Vee creates a safe table
Your comfort at the table is my top priority. Here’s how I help ensure that: • Consent Checklist – I use the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist, which I will provide ahead of time so everyone can mark what they are comfortable with. • X, N, & O Cards – These tools will be available digitally within Foundry for quick use, and players are also welcome to message me privately at any time. • Breaks – We will take short breaks as needed, and anyone can call for a break at any time. • Aftercare – At the end of the session, we will take a few minutes to debrief. This is a chance to share highlights, check in about any difficult moments, and close the game together in a safe, supportive way. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels safe, included, and able to enjoy themselves.
