About the adventure

Once every eight years, the fantastic Witchlight Carnival touches down on your world, bringing joy to one settlement after the next. Its owners, Mister Witch and Mister Light, know how to put on a good show. But there’s more to this magical extravaganza than meets the eye! The carnival is a gateway to a fantastic Feywild domain unlike anything found on the Material Plane. Time has not been kind to this realm, however, and dark days lie ahead unless someone can thwart the dastardly schemes of the Hourglass Coven. The Wild Beyond the Witchlight takes adventurers from the Witchlight Carnival to Prismeer, a Feywild domain of delight, and is designed for characters of levels 1–8. This book comes with a poster map that shows the carnival on one side and Prismeer on the other.

About me

Having run games for some years now and never feeling I have enough people to run campaigns for, I want to share my imagination with people in my homebrew worlds of which i have many.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create your character in a free session 0, characters will be starting at level 2, we will do this on D&D beyond races will be limited to the ones i have access to, but if you can run things by me i am happy to look over ones and give approval

The current party

current lvl 5 just gotten past the 2nd hag that has taken over Prismeer and heading towards facing the 3rd and beyond. we have a Rogue, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer currently, they seem to be more combat light, and more likely to get around combat scenarios than get in to them.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

For a session you should have your Mic and availability to use discord, the character sheet we would have made during session 0 and access to Roll20

What Philip Wheate brings to the table

I will bring all the scenes for people that want scenes to look at with thematic music. I try my best to do voices for all my characters and if a voice accent is off I will try to study up to make it more authentic.

Homebrew rules

potions are bonus actions inspiration can be saved and stacked up to 3 times to save, missing an ability check will give you karma points which 5 can be used to buy an inspiration.

Safety

How Philip Wheate creates a safe table

At first i will be sending a form to fill about your character and what things your veils and lines are. We will go over this in more depth during a session 0. A sensitive topic might come up in that days session i will address it before hand and check in afterward regardless of if everyone said it wasn't a veil or line for them. you can send X, N, & O's to me through Direct Messages at any point in the sessions and i will steer from the current topic of conversation
