About the adventure
Lost Mine of Phandelver is a classic D&D adventure and a perfect starting point for new players. Your journey begins with a simple job of escorting a wagon of supplies from the city of Neverwinter to Phandalin. Even though it sounds easy, the road is full of surprises and you'll for sure find trouble in your way. As the story unfolds, you'll uncover all the mysteries and the missing pieces about a long lost treasure: the legendary mine Wave Echo Cave. A mysterious figure known as Black Spider is also hunting for the mine, and their agents are already moving! This campaign is designed to be beginner-friendly. Pre-generated characters created by Wizards of the Coats are available if you want to jump right into action, but you are also welcome to create your own character. Either way, I'll guide you through the rules, help with character creation, and make sure everyone feels comfortable learning the game while enjoying the story with plenty of room to ask questions and grow into your character.

About me
Hi, Im Gustavo, but most people call me Gus or Krut. I'm from Brazil, and I've been playing tabletop games for about 10+ years now. I've explored everything from Catan, Zumbicide, up to Coup and Saboteur, Magic the Gathering and many others. Beyond card and tabletop games I've enjoyed PC games all my life, from Runescape to League of Legends to World of Warcraft. Since 2017 I started playing TTRPGs, knowing the world of Dungeons and Dragons with my local friends and I haven't stopped since. In 2025 I began DMing one-shots and I'm really liking it. I've always enjoyed reading stories and now I've discover how much I love telling them - especially with the collaboration of my players.

Creating your character
We will begin character creation on Session 0, which takes place before the campaign starts. During this session we can create your character from scratch or you may choose to use one of the pre generated characters sheets provided by Wizards of the Coast specifically for this campaign. Or we can combine both options together and create something new together. You do not need to know any rules beforehand, because we will be creating the characters together and Ill explain how the character sheet works, as well as any relevant rule to your character during Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You can prepare by having your Discord ready (mic, webcam is optional) and an account on Owlbear Rodeo - thats our VTT server and nothing else!
What Gustavo Staedele Krutzsch brings to the table
I'll provide immersive and fun gameplay as much as possible. I mainly do not do NPC voices not expect my players to do so, but you are free to do it. I enjoy utilizing ambient music for the right moments and sometimes sound effects to create more immersion.
Homebrew rules
I do enjoy playing with a few homebrew rules which Ill explain in details on Session 0, but the most relevant is: drinking a potion as a bonus action.
