About the adventure
The quiet village of Thistlebrook has been violently shaken. Goblins, usually content with petty raids, have poured from the Whisperwood in a desperate, panicked assault, overwhelming the town's defenses. It's clear they're not merely after plunder; they're fleeing something far more terrifying deeper within the forest. As adventurers recognized by the town guard, you're tasked with venturing into the increasingly unnatural woods to uncover the source of this exodus. You'll face twisted flora, desperate creatures, and ultimately, an Altered Beast – a monstrous embodiment of the Whisperwood's growing corruption. Can you unearth the truth and save Thistlebrook from the rising tide of unnatural change?

About me
Greetings adventurers! I’m Arden, your guide through worlds of magic and mystery. My mission is to create unforgettable stories and immerse you in worlds where your imagination can run wild. My main approach to DnD is that it is a place for collaborative storytelling, where a group of stranger come together to weave an epic story all their own. With years of experience in storytelling and a passion for creating new stories, I hope bring creativity, adaptability, and a touch of magic to every campaign and one-shot. No matter if you are a seasoned adventurer or just embarking on your first adventure, I'm dedicated to making each session a memorable one.

Creating your character
Players will be expected to make a level 3 character. Any race/class combo is allowed, and you can roll in discord for stats. As for the purchase of magic items, every character gets a number of points equal to half their level (rounded up). The cost of items is: Uncommon 1 point, Rare is 2, Very Rare is 3, and Legendary is 4, also consumables are 50%. However you can only pick items with a cost equal to your tier, so no legendary items at lvl 8 ;) The tiers are 1 is lvl 1-4, 2 is lvl 5-10, 3 is lvl 11-16, and 4 is lvl 17+. I also assume you have whatever spell components and adventuring gear you need for your level. As for the theme, your character should be pragmatic and willing to investigate dangerous situations, even those involving unnatural threats. How do they react when faced with overwhelming fear from even the most desperate creatures? Characters with a connection to nature or a strong sense of community might find themselves particularly compelled by this threat. Avoid overtly evil alignments; morally gray is fine, but you should be willing to help.
