About the adventure
The opening plot hook? You have all received a letter from the infamous Charles G. Tusk-worthy requesting uniquely skilled individuals to collect at his manner and unravel the mystery of Naz’ka’banes fearful plague. This campaign is a horror and mystery experience about a coastal capital city being cursed by the force of death and suffering from isolation. In this adventure path, we will explore the bone rattling mysteries that surround the port city of Naz’ka’bane. This campaign is intended for problem solving and exploration loving players to enjoy, as a GM I play pretty equal social and Combat encounters. I love meaningful and interesting combat encounters. The goal is around 30% combat, 40% social and 30% exploration/puzzle solving. The forests and camps of Neswin Isles, home of the port city Naz’ka’bane, in recent months have become infested with wandering spirits and undead creatures. A nation of warriors is useless against enemies you can’t kill. The pandemic of undeath has all but halted the city's thriving markets and bustling ports, mass amounts of citizens and entire tribes settling in from the woods have been reported missing. For now, the hollowed grounds of the Aiser Wolf are protecting portions of the city however, any who try to escape seem to just disappear. The port city of Naz’ka’bane is the cultural capital of the western world. Often referred to as the Zantharrin Fang Wilds, the western world is revered as The Ickervien Wolf’s domain. The Societies here are primarily nomadic and value Honor of the Hunt, challenges of courage and Feats strength. The few true settlements are cities that serve as cultural centers, large trade markets and points of political access. The Zantharrin Fang Wilds are primarily governed by the followers of Balen, Aiser Wolf of the Night's Hunt and the land is rampant with the savage The setting of Val’ulf'hbiem is a personally crafted setting that is an alternative history concept where the Nordic god Fenrir devoured the world and gave it life anew. The setting does have much more of a Nordic theme focus and its own general lore that a primer on will be provided that will also cover character creation. Although the greater world is not the forgotten realms most if not all of the content in the module will be accurate with additional story telling flair.

About me
I am a fun loving artist with a unique sense of humor. I view Game mastering as a form of art and am very passionate about my table's fun while telling the best possible stories. I've been a GM since 2017 and my homebrew campaign setting has had over 60 different players partake in the fun. I've also been running games at a public game store for 3 years now.

Creating your character
Once you're on the discord server, I will assign a private communication channel for character creation and development through the game. In addition to the private character development channel, players will gain access to a setting primer to review before character creation. basic creation rules as follows; Use point buy for stats Use fixed Hp for health Primary accepted sources are 5.5e rules. use of older content is possible post discussion. 3rd party content is accepted post discussion. This is a horror/mystery themed Adventure path, so character creation should follow thoughts along this fact however, I will have two campaign primers for an abundance of character creation detail. I am ok with most homebrew after review of its source materials. I also will just accept any player options from the 2024 rules in general but particularly from the Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn, Ravenloft material and Crooked Moon 3rd party expansion. Within the primers for the campaign, it will cover what the most common races are and what class options that I think have the coolest ideals for the setting. if an option doesn't exist in 2024 rules, I am ok with porting some rules from 2014 rule sets.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a reliable discord account as that is where our play space will be located. Once in discord via the supplied link after signing up, players should follow the server intake steps. This will give access to other linked materials such as campaign primer, consent form and so on. Players should also have a reliable DnDBeyon account as that is our main method of character creation. The link to the campaign will be supplied both from sign up and via the discord channel. Players will need to download at least the free version of talespire, (talespire guest edition). Then players may have a hero-forge or titan-craft account, which they will then need to link their talespire by inputting the hero-forge or titan-craft access key found in the respective website accounts personal information, into the 5th settings menu of talespire. In order to use minis from the hero-forge or titan-craft, players will have to purchase the 3D digital model for VTTs (7.99$), however I can and am willing to supply at least one 3D digital model per player.
What Acrylic Wolf brings to the table
I love to set a mood with music and make bizarre noises pretending to be some alien mythologic creator. I also love to make 3D terrains and custom artwork, though handmade art isn't a guarantee. I am a GM that considers the fact that the world is living and breathing, your choices in the world have consequences and they will impact the world within reason of the choices made. I also love story and seeing how players change the stakes of the story. You are not just bearing witness to it; you are a driving factor of what happens and how it ends.
Homebrew rules
My setting allows the use of spell points however this is optional.

How Acrylic Wolf creates a safe table
I use a consent form designed by monte cook to establish and update lines and vales, because I myself am not bothered by much, so I have to go the extra mile to know where everyone else's lines are. I can't predict what players will do or how every NPC will react, but what I can do is create a cultured environment that is thoughtful, alerted, informed and forgiving.
