About me
I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game mixed with improv troupe I associate with the best examples of D&D. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and giving people a place to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy.

Creating your character
These one-shots will include an explanation of player-facing details of peoples and groups in Krynn, as well as character options supplementing the rules in the Player’s Handbook. Peoples of Krynn: Learn about the peoples of Krynn and how they might inspire your next character. Race Options: Explanations of why no "dragonborn" in Krynn. Why "monster-classes" aren't available. Instead of gnome/halfling you can play as a kender, a character race known for bravery and curiosity. Organizations: Discover two of Krynn’s most influential groups, the honorable Knights of Solamnia and the mystical Mages of High Sorcery. Backgrounds: Learn how war shapes your character, and choose from two new backgrounds: the Knight of Solamnia and Mage of High Sorcery. Feats: Draw on the power of magic, honor, or the gods with this selection of feats. Subclass Option: Tie your magic to Krynn’s three mystical moons with the Lunar Sorcery sorcerer subclass.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For best results, please have (or create) acounts on Discord and D&D Beyond- I am happy to assist! A mic will be required, but no video streaming is expected. For immersion, I suggest a headset mic, snacks, and a quiet, comfortable room. Music and ambient effects are available as an option, but can be adjusted or muted if distracting. There are decades of content on this setting, and how it differs from the Forgotten Realms universe. There are countless novels, a fun animated film and several video games that pertain to this setting. There are some good RPG supplements I can include for those experienced players with prior knowledge of the lore who are interested some additional race/species options.
What Tamu aka "DutchesandDragons" brings to the table
All you need is the free time and access to a PC with good audio and mic capabilities! I'll gently guide you through every step! I provide access to all necessary sourcebook materials and will guide you through an explanation of the characteristics of different classes, subclasses and backgrounds. You may also create your own character if you understand that process and the specific lore of Dragonlance. If not, no worries. Pre-generated characters have been provided and as DM I am happy to allow you to switch characters prior to starting the game- NO PRESSURE!
Homebrew rules
Dragonlance features changes, additions and modifications to the 5E 2014 rules and to the lore resulting in changes to the availability of classes and races/species. These modifications will be explained fully. The setting is unrelated to other D&D settings and resides in a completely different universe.
