Guarded by forces older than recorded time, these sacred reservoirs were never meant for mortal hands to pillage. But as a new age and attitudes groove in at the behest of industry, the spoils of the old world prove too tempting for brilliant minds and wicked hearts. Can you quell the hunger of the new world or will you fall under the very same spell? This Vaesen campaign is a heavily customised adaptation of "The Lost Mountain Saga". It is inspired by the immaculate vibes of "Disco Elysium" (ZA/UM), the methodical burn of "True Detective" (HBO), and the off-kilter twists and turns of "Lovecraft Country" (HBO)". We will traverse through a fictional interpretation of industrial era Scandinavia, visiting seedy city underbellies, haunting countrysides, temples to the occult, and beyond! This campaign is open to players of all experience levels; whether you're new to the game or a veteran, all are welcome. **WARNING: this campaign may tackle challenging themes involving, but not limited to Real World Religion, Animal Abuse, and Child Endangerment.
