About the adventure
Bluebeard's Bride is a story of a young bride left alone in her wealthy new husband's house while he is away on business. She is given total independence, a set of keys that grant her freedom to roam anywhere in the house. There is but one rule: the smallest key to a small room at the end of the gallery is forbidden. Under no circumstances is she to enter that room. Players portray aspects of the Bride's psyche, each contributing to her journey through the rooms in her new home and the glorious and terrible horrors which reside there. Ultimately, there is but one question that will determine your fate as Bluebeard's bride: Are you Faithful or Disloyal?

Creating your character
Character creation will take place at the beginning of the game. Each player will choose a part of the Bride to play and we will flesh out each aspect from there.

Players will need a Discord account and an ability to post consistently.
What Laine brings to the table
I will provide a Discord server for dice rolling and communication as well as all supplemental materials needed for gameplay. I will also provide a safe environment to explore the dark themes of the game, and a love of gothic horror.

How Laine creates a safe table
This game explores dark themes involving abuse, sexuality, religion, and the violent experiences of women. The point of the game is to push boundaries, but if at any point something is too much, players may use the X Card (or in this case, typing an X in the chat). There will be no questions, no discussion unless the player wishes to discuss something with me. We will simply edit and regroup. I will also utilize a lines and veils document to help set the perimeters for play.
