About the adventure

𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮 "The skies still remember the fall." This is an ongoing cinematic, player-driven D&D 5e campaign set in the floating islands of Gemmora, a world forever changed by a cataclysm that shattered the land and forced humanity to survive among the clouds. You are not legends, at least not yet. You are new adventurers answering the Adventurer's Call in a fragile age, where courage, wit, and connection matter more than crowns. The plot does not belong to the DM. It belongs to you. Your choices, bonds, risks, and victories will decide what this world becomes. · ─ ·♦· ─ · ·· · ─ ·♦· ─ · ·· · ─ ·♦· ─ · The World Above After the cataclysm, the High Magycorum raised vast islands into the Western Skies. An act of desperation and hope to preserve what remained of civilization. With no standing armies, broken trade routes, and scattered nations, the Adventuring Guild rose to fill the gaps: messengers, explorers, protectors, problem-solvers. That’s where you come into this world that unfolds as you dare to explore it. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 ✾ Try before you Commit! Because I want you to determine if you're willing to commit your time and resources to this campaign, I'm offering Session 0 for free and Session 1 at 50% off. This should give yo the change to see my DM style and the party dynamic. ✾ Explore the Floating Isles Chart unknown skies, descend into ancient ruins, negotiate with island-states, and uncover what was lost when the world broke. Every journey changes what becomes accessible next. ㅤ✾ Shape the World with Your Actions Your decisions leave marks on cities, factions, and people. Allies remember you. Enemies prepare for you. The setting evolves because you were there. ㅤ✾ Forge Bonds That Matter Create meaningful relationships with NPCs and party members alike: rivals, found family, mentors, lovers, and companions who may one day fight or fall beside you. ㅤ✾ Build a Bastion in the Skies Establish a base of operations: a haven, a stronghold, a growing hub of allies and resources that reflects your values and victories. ㅤ✾ Play Your Way: Roleplay & Combat in Balance This is a living campaign shaped by the group. Deep social roleplay, tense negotiations, character-driven moments, and when steel is drawn, combat is cinematic, meaningful, and earned. The balance between story and battle shifts to match what you enjoy most. ㅤ✾ Become Heroes, Your Way Seek glory. Seek knowledge. Seek peace or power. The game does not tell you who to be. It reacts to who you choose to become.

About me

My journey as a DM began in childhood, wandering the forest for hours pretending I was a mage or ranger. I fought invisible foes, spoke to imagined spirits, and built stories out of branches and stones. That instinct to create worlds never left me. Videogames later opened doors into richer, stranger realms. Their stories and emotions shaped my sense of narrative, connection, and choice, creative a moral compass I guide myself with. Even now, everything I play, read, or experience becomes another thread I weave into my worlds. I discovered tabletop roleplaying during the pandemic and found a joy I hadn’t realized I was missing: the joy of co-creating. Across almost a decade, I’ve learned to listen, to read the table, to balance tension and release, and to blend player ideas seamlessly into the narrative. I’ve learned to craft stories not for players, but with them. Besides that, in my day to day job, I have to build many interpersonal relationships and interact with a wide range of personalities and character types. I believe these soft skills have translated really well into how I approach storytelling, helping me step more easily into the characters I create and better understand and connect with the people in my party. And through it all, one rule guides me: we’re here to create something beautiful together. So let’s respect each other, stay curious, and enjoy the time we share.”

Character creation

Creating your character

Before the campaign begins, we’ll have a free Session 0 call to talk through the world, the tools we’ll use, and your character’s role in the story. Characters are built on D&D Beyond, with shared access to sourcebooks, including the 2024 edition.

What haru' brings to the table

✾ Crafted for Immersion Expect custom-built battle maps, animated elements, and atmospheric visuals, paired with curated soundscapes. All created using non-AI, human-made assets. Every scene is designed to support clarity, mood, and cinematic flow without overwhelming the table. ✾ Characters That Grow in the Story Your character is more than a stat block or a build. Growth happens through choices, consequences, relationships, and moments that matter. Narrative development is as important as leveling, your story evolves with the world, not beside it. ✾ A Living, Reactive Sandbox This is an open world that listens. Whether the group leans toward deep social roleplay, exploration, or tactical combat, the campaign adjusts to match that preference. The world responds dynamically to what you engage with—and what you ignore. ✾ Pacing with Purpose I focus on strong session pacing, knowing when to let moments breathe, when to build tension, and when to cut straight to action. Quiet character beats and high-stakes encounters both get the space they deserve. ✾ Everyone Has the Spotlight Each player gets meaningful moments to shine. No one fades into the background, and no one carries the story alone. The narrative is shared, balanced, and intentionally structured so every character matters. ✾ Collaborative, Welcoming Play This is an easygoing, respectful table where players are encouraged to co-create memorable moments. Your character is pulled into the action, supported by the story, and given room to surprise even themselves. · ─ ·♦· ─ · ·· · ─ ·♦· ─ · ·· · ─ ·♦· ─ · Perfect For Players Who… ✔ Enjoy cinematic storytelling and immersive narration ✔ Want their character to matter in the world beyond combat ✔ Love a balance of roleplay, exploration, and meaningful combat ✔ Appreciate strong pacing moments that breathe, and moments that hit hard ✔ Want spotlight moments and character-driven arcs ✔ Like collaborative storytelling and co-creating memorable scenes ✔ Are welcoming, respectful, and invested in group chemistry ✔ Enjoy watching a world change in response to their choices Might Not Be a Fit If You… ✘ Prefer purely combat-focused or dungeon-only play ✘ Want a rigid, pre-written story with little player agency ✘ Are uncomfortable with roleplay or shared narrative moments ✘ Expect constant combat with minimal downtime or character beats ✘ Prefer optimization-first play over story and character growth ✘ Don’t enjoy adapting to group-driven pacing and tone
