Monday, April 12, 1926. The night of a new moon and a terrible storm off the coast of Rockport, Massachusetts. Monday, April 12, 1926. The night the lights went out... Call of Cthulhu is the world’s best roleplaying game of mystery and horror. In Call of Cthulhu, you take on the role of everyday people who become investigators of the unknown—whether they are prepared or not. The mysterious places, people, and situations you encounter are often not what they seem—you and your friends are the only thing standing in the way of diabolical cults and cosmic monsters from beyond space! This is a learn-to-play scenario, ideal for beginners. Pre gen characters will be provided. Adventure, horror and suspenseful awaits!

Creating your character
There are 4 pre-generated investigators to choose from. Once you join, you will be invited into the Discord Server. Pinned at the top of the Lightless Beacon thread is an image describing the 4 pre-gens. Please select one (that hasn't been already chosen...check the thread!). You may adjust the Investigators name and gender, just speak with me ahead of time and we'll make the change!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Audio over discord (an account is free). You will need a mic and headphones. Be aware if there is too much background noise, you may be asked to switch to push-to-talk. Log in to Foundry using the link provided (no account needed). Please note that a laptop or desktop computer is required, as Foundry does not work well on a phone or tablet. Bring excitement and a fun attitude to learn how to play Call of Cthulhu!
