About the adventure
"Times are changing, a bright new future is on the horizon. Your planet's membership in Union will provide advances all across the planet and boons to it's citizens." The Union representative gesticulates grandly, their sharply tailored clothing contrasting the humble meeting room starkly. "Our charter prevents direct intervention on non-member planets, and their will likely be some turmoil in this time of transition, we ask that you work to support your elected representatives to ensure a smooth transition." This is a kingmaker style game with players and their faction's choices and actions determining the fate of Engald. *All skill levels welcome. * Story driven, local sandbox style narrative Set in the rural Kingdom of Cornwood, player will traverse the country side, small towns, and metropolis as they work to support or undermine various factions by coercion or force. --Will you lay waste to all those in your path? --Will you protect the innocent? --Will you serve the highest bidder?

Welcome to my profile! Stay a while, read a little about me, and let's have some adventures! I have been running and playing TTRPGs since ~2017 having been drawn in by the social aspect. Spending time with friends laughing? Why not!? Some of my experience. I have completed a homebrew 5th Edition D&D weekly online campaign from 2017 to 2021. I have completed a weekly Mass Effect 5E hack long term campaign from 2023 to 2025. I have mostly run D&D 5E but I have DM'd Starfinder, FreeLeague Alien RPG, and Lancer as well. Creating your character
Pilot and Lancer creation will take place in session zero with the help of Lancer's tag along app Comp/con. I would recommend having a couple ideas for what character you would, or wouldn't like to play, but you don't need to have a fleshed out character. Some things to help you out: -What are your characters personal strengths and goals? -What are their weaknesses and fears? -What kind of upbringing or childhood did they have? -What are their morals and values? -Why are they putting their life in danger to protect non-combatants and their team? Don't be too worried about combat style yet as Lancers will start out quite similar at LL0 and are very easily changed through the campaign.

Preparing for the session
+A microphone of fair quality and discord account will be required. +Webcam is optional but recommended. A free account on Roll20 will be needed for game access. A familiarity with the Lancer rule system would be beneficial, but is not required.

How Christopher B creates a safe table
Basic lines and veils will be laid out before hand, and added to during session zero and as the campaign progresses. A document will be sent out. Game cards can be used multiple ways, in game, chat, verbally or in PM. After the session we will check in and see how everyone is doing, discuss stars and wishes. Feedback is appreciated. For more intense sessions, there will be check-ins through-out the session as required, or requested, and breaks if needed. There will be a bio break in the middle of the session 1.5-2 hours in.
