About the adventure
This game is being run as a free and fun campaign to help me cut my teeth as a GM on this platform. Please, join. And, welcome! It is true. I am a librarian. Follow this tale and you will find that not only am I trapped... Sometimes going mad, sometimes so overwhelmed with joy that my very soul weeps with the madness of it! Honestly though, all wizard-hermit-librarian dramatics aside, I have been involved with Dungeons and Dragons for 32 years, and my dream as a teenager was to one day have a campaign published in Dragon magazine. Creating your character
Please create a character before we begin. Remember, level 4. Sky's the limit otherwise, feel free to bring in any character race or class you like! Roll stats however you like, min/max to your heart's content. I of course advise using dndbeyond to create your character, and this game will be hosted through AboveVTT. If you need any help at all, I am available to be of service :-)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using AboveVTT via dndbeyond to play this game. Also, please have a discord account as we will communicate via discord. Once you join, you will be invited to the server where the game will begin :-)
What Jason brings to the table
Are you ready for a fun and zany adventure where the GM can best be described as a Kender in the midst of being struck by lightning? If you can deal with my ADHD goodness you will find yourself swimming in a campaign that features : - fun and varied attempts at voices! - unique soundtrack - forceful interruptions of the campaign for seconds at a time as the DM uncontrollably sings or suddenly plays a musical instrument - roleplaying is rewarded however possible, whenever possible. The deeper and more detailed, the better! - prizes in the form of free future sessions, fun merchandise, and more! (if you do the super secret special things)
Homebrew rules
I don't really make up homebrew rules before the game starts. It is player dependent :-) If there is anything fun and interesting you would like to do as far as the rules or mechanics are concerned, just let me know. I love playing around with game mechanics!

How Jason creates a safe table
If something is going on that a player is uncomfortable with, a digital message sent via discord will be observed and honoured, especially if delivered using the X, N, O system by sending the letter through a private discord message to the GM. Nothing said publicly, and the situation will be dealt with subtly in-game.
