About the adventure
The Town of Red Glen is an adventure and setting that encourages cooperation and chance. Utilizing a table at the start of character creation to determine a players Species and Class this adventure encourages you to fill the boots you were given rather then make the boots you want. Each species and class come with specific NPCs for your characters to have a premade relationship with, it also has the chance for you to have players who are siblings or fellow students to further connect your character to the town of Red Glen. The Campaign itself spends a lot of time in the town of Red Glen, your home and the safehaven of your ancestors. Which gives an opportunity for new players to get comfortable with the format, while also allowing veteran players the chance to relax and have fun. But be warned, I have run this game with players before and few of them would dare say it's easy. I focus on trying to provide challenging but meaningful puzzles and combat. While also setting the stage for a mystery with a payoff that makes you feel like you achieved something.

Creating your character
Players will be asked to roll 2d6, from this dice two things will be determined. 1 - Species, the options are Elf, Dwarf, Human, Halfling, Half Orc and Players Choice. 2 - The second dice will determine you training in which occupation, be that Healer(Cleric, Paladin or Druid), Guard(Fighter, Ranger, Monk, Barbarian, Rogue) or Shaman(Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock or Bard) after which you will be given a small info doc on your Parent their history and standing in the town and another on your teacher with the same. You will be introduced to players who rolled the same species or occupation as you and given sometime to discuss potential relationships be they friendships, rivalries or otherwise. Stats will be determined by point by and we will be using dnd beyond. We'll be using milestone with beginning equipment.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Dnd Beyond for character sheets and VTT and using Discord for VC and organization for our sessions.
What Tka brings to the table
I like to think myself as a very rule of cool DM, I see DND as a co-operative story telling effort and so I hope for my players to be able to have their characters rise to the occasion. Combat will always be challenging but not a grind, with the intent of having your decisions mean something not only to your characters but to the town of Red Glen itself,.
Homebrew rules

How Tka creates a safe table
Session 0 will cover the trajectory of the campaign and will allow players time to ask questions and offer suggestions for their own homebrew rules for the campaign. We will also spend some time in pairs discussing characters as a small icebreaker to get to know your fellow players. I use an open door policy and will be sending out a google form after session 0 for Lines and Veils and some other things to help you enjoy your time with me!
