About the adventure

Diablo style Dungeon Crawl. Heavy combat, high exploration but simplified, medium social but simplified. Minimal story. Very much like a multi round arena session but you also explore a dungeon. No messing around. Jump right into action and it will be nonstop action. You can benefit from one short rest but you have to succeed at a relevant ability check. No long rests. May the odds be in your favor...

About me

I've loved D&D ever since I first experienced it in the 80s. I've DMed many full campaigns and many, many one shots. I love this game and how it brings people together for social fun from any geo and demographic. I am friendly to all demographics and insist that my players are likewise. If you want to be chaotic stupid, engage in PVP, or ruin the fun for other players, I'm not your DM.

Creating your character

-- General Rules -- - 2024 rules - All WOTC content allowed. If it's reprinted you must use latest. If you choose backgrounds, feats, species, class, or subclass specific to a campaign setting, you must choose everything from that campaign setting. - No custom lineage, no custom background - No content incompatible with 2024 rules - Partner and Homebrew Content allowed that has been rated in my Google Sheet. Content with OP rating not allowed. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kBcGtQ97zLTTheZ2qCfsSWjCcnjmK8mP7sxTAhBuaF0/edit?usp=sharing - Use Point Buy for ability score generation - Use Fixed HP generation - No downtime, no bastion, no piety, no renown - You are responsible for all tokens including mounts, pets, and summons in Roll20. I have a How To for this if you need. Banned - All joke or gimmick characters - Chaotic stupid characters - PVP Spell Changes Chromatic Orb. The chance to bounce is only determined by the first three d8s and cannot be affected by any die result changes such as elemental adept. Shield. The benefit from this spell only applies to the triggering attack.

The current party

Two hours of carnage! No social encounters! Adventure Source: Randomly generated dungeon Combat: High Exploration: High Social: None Character Level: 20 Additional Character Creation Per PHB - Starting equipment - Plus 20,000 gp - Plus 2 Common, 4 Uncommon, 3 Rare, 1 Very Rare from the 2024 DMG. If you choose a magic item where the mundane version has a gp cost greater than 50 gp, you must pay the difference over 50 gp. Purchasing Items - You can purchase any mundane equipment or mounts (check with the DM if a mount will be functional in the adventure) from the 2024 PHB. - You can purchase magic items from the DMG using standard item pricing from 2024 DMG and PHB. - If you choose a magic item incorporates an item that has a purchase cost, you must also pay that entire cost as well. - If you choose an enspelled item, it can only contain spells that your character can cast. - A maximum of 4 of each type of consumable Dungeon Info - The rooms are a bit larger but the hallways are still 5 ft. wide. Magically the hallways and doors allow creatures larger than Large to pass through as difficult terrain! Desired Treasure - Put a list of 3-4 magic items up to the highest rarity allowed for this level into the notes of your character sheet. Some of them may drop in the dungeon.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You need a mic, Discord, Roll20, DNDBeyond, and the browser extension Beyond20. Have your player character made 1 hour before the session and DM me with it so I can get your token setup in Roll20.

What BrunoDiaz brings to the table

This is all virtual. I bring all the DM stuff including NPCs with personality and voices. You bring your A game and roleplay. We'll have a blast.

Homebrew rules

Spellcasting is mostly RAW but: - With hands and Somatic and Material components. If you have a hand free or are holding a spellcasting focus that qualifies for you, you're good for SM spells. If you have Warcaster then you're good for all S or M spells. Otherwise, you can't cast the spell with S or M components. - You don't need to buy every specific little material component in advance. You can use money to buy the Spell Component Materials generic item in game and add it to your inventory. One Spell Component Material counts as 1 gp worth of material component. Note that the full item name is Spell Component Materials DSR and is a homebrew item so you will have to have homebrew turned on, just don't use any other homebrew. Spell Changes Chromatic Orb. The chance to bounce is only determined by the first three d8s and cannot be affected by any die result changes such as elemental adept. Shield. The benefit from this spell only applies to the triggering attack.
