I've played in a few of his Diablo Dungeons, and they were a lot of fun. It's a challenging format -- I've seen other DMs try and fail to duplicate it -- but he manages to succeed at it, somehow maintaining player engagement with a random group doing combat-focused encounters. While he supports Rule of Cool, these are intentional exceptions on top of actually knowing and following the Rules as Written. Instead of this strictness spoiling the fun, it provides solid expectations so that you can focus on the adventure, not guessing what the DM might rule. He also runs the DSR YouTube channel, which I've found interesting and helpful.
Had a fun time in a one-shot. She kept the action moving despite a large group and allowed just enough rule of cool for player creativity without turning it into no-net tennis. There wasn't much opportunity for RP in this particular session, but I still got the impression that she's good at voices and stories.
Made good use of music, sound effects, and pitch shifting to increase immersion, while taking advantage of Rol20's excellent integration with Demiplane. As for the game itself, this was some of the most thrilling combat I've seen in Daggerheart, complete with epic reversals, teamwork, and sacrifice. On top of this, he fully embraced Daggerheart's rule-of-cool to give player creativity the spotlight.
Had lots of fun in a one-shot. He fully embraced Daggerheart's commitment to Rule of Cool by giving us a chance to try anything that seemed plausible and not punishing us too badly on the occasions when this led to failure. He used the VTT well, set the mood with music, and did a particularly good job of dealing with the absence of initiative order while still keeping the game moving forward.
