Creating your character

- Build a level 3 PC in D&D Beyond (5e/2024 rules; standard array). Once you're set up in the discord, we can chat about your ideas and backstory so I can weave them into the story accordingly. I love character creation, so always happy to help with ideas and build! - For this adventure, please avoid homebrew classes/subclasses. - You may start with class equipment + background equipment. - Take a free feat

Preparing for the session

You'll just need a Discord account and a character sheet on D&D Beyond. Once you're approved, I'll send through the links to the campaign and the discord server.

What Below Tayble brings to the table

🖋️ Players can expect 1-2 long-form posts 5 days a week plus additional back-and-forth as scenes play out. I encourage PCs to roleplay with each other as often as they like! Here's what else to expect: ✨ Heavy Roleplay: PCs and the bonds, enemies, and choices they make heavily impact the story. I'm all about treating every PC like they're the main character and creating unforgettable NPCs for them to interact with. 🎥 Theater of the Mind: Since this is a play-by-post adventure, the carnival and everywhere we travel afterwards will be portrayed through compelling dialogue and detailed description that make you feel like you've fallen straight into the world at hand. Happy to supply reference maps on a case-by-case basis (certain combat scenarios, specific settings, etc.) 🌀 Rule of Cool Creativity and fun are top priority at my table, which means I'm big on RoC. Out-of-the-box ideas are supported and encouraged. I follow the rules more closely when it comes to combat. On that note... 🗡️ Light Combat You won't find any rat grinding here. That said, you can expect the combat that does arise to matter: they change the stakes, can set the stage for character development, and/or impact the plot in meaningful ways. 🌈 LGBTQ+ Friendly Come on down, the vibes are good here. ❤️‍🔥 18+ Content As a professional writer of over a decade, I conjure romance and spice that feels real and earned. Sensual themes will be woven into the story at large, and as this is an 18+ game, there will be potential for romance and spicy RP with NPCs and other PCs to their comfort level (which will be established before the game begins and can be revised at any time.)

You'll receive a safety & consent form where you can set your lines and veils, which can be modified at any time. Since this is an 18+ spicy adventure, all players should be comfortable with some adult content arising in the plot.
