A few notes on roleplay: Everyone has a different comfort level with roleplay, and I make room for that at my table. š· Voices and accents are welcome but not required or expected. š· You can describe what your character does in 1st person(I check the chest for traps) or 3rd person(Chetney checks the chest for traps) š· While persuasive in-character dialogue is always fun, you don't need to be as charismatic as your character. That's what the dice are for!

š³ļøāš I started playing D&D 4 years ago and it immediately became my passion. Iāve been GMing for about two years now, both in person and online. All I want is more D&D in my life! My table is welcoming, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ friendly. I want everyone to feel safe, respected, and excited to show up and play. Whether youāre newer to the game or very experienced, my goal is to create a collaborative space where we can tell a good story together. A small but important thing: I want to use my GM earnings to buy and share more content on D&D Beyond so my players have access to more options and resources.

Creating your character

I am more than happy to help you with the process. I prefer character creation to be collaborative. If you build a vampire hunter but the campaign has no vampires or pure RP for a dungeon crawl, you aren't going to have as much fun. Feel free to come to the table with some ideas, and we can work together to make sure it's a fit for the setting! If you're eager to get started on character creation or need any assistance, reach out to me on Discord and I will gladly help. This is one of my favorite parts of starting a new adventure š I recommend consulting the Heroic Chronicle from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, especially if you are unfamiliar with Wildemount. You will have access to this on D&D Beyond once you are added to my campaign. If you are interested in a fateful moment that provides a bonus please let me know so I can make sure it makes sense! There are backgrounds unique to Exandria and to Saltmarsh. Once you are added to the Discord server I will give you the list. You are welcome to use them or one of the traditional backgrounds. Feel free to use any published content, with the exception of Minecraft and Rick and Morty. If there is something you really want from those reach out to me so I can look it over. How Laura creates a safe table
Again, this is a positive place that welcomes all and is an LGBTQ+ space. During session 0 I will send a link to the web-based Deck of Player Safety. If you want to check it out beforehand, this is the site: https://app.demiplane.com/dops ā The X Card: The X Card can be used at any point in the game to remove content that someone at the table finds uncomfortable, triggering, or deals with subject matter they donāt want to get into. Because we are online, the most effective way to use the X card is to say "X Card" out loud. You may also type it into chat or cross your arms(if on video). If an X card is played, I will clarify what content they are playing the X Card for, and the group will change, retcon, or delete the content as needed. The X Card player does not have to explain why they played it, and no one at the table can argue against the X Card being played. āZero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. This includes breaking safety and consent lines. By joining you agree to the following: š¹ I wont attack other players or steal from them (PVP) š¹ I will not play a character who is explicitly evil or selfish š¹ I will respect the narrative consent of others and be a team player š¹ I promise not to engage in problematic play and I will come to the table with a great attitude
