About the adventure
The Burrow Adventurers’ Guild is more than a hiring hall; it is a name whispered across the realm. Each month, a new contract is posted, and a fresh party is dispatched to handle a job that others cannot. Some missions bring praise and coin. Others leave rumors, resentment, or unfinished business in their wake. While every adventure is a standalone D&D one-shot with a complete beginning and end, the world remembers. The choices you make on a contract shape how the Burrow is seen by nobles, townsfolk, and rival factions alike. Success builds the guild’s reputation and opens new opportunities. Failure, or morally gray decisions, can tarnish its name, changing the kinds of jobs offered in future sessions. Adventurers are rewarded for completed contracts. Gold, loot, and favors earned can carry over to future Burrow one-shots, whether you return with the same character or step away and come back months later. No long-term commitment is required, but returning players will feel the weight and benefits of what came before. This game is designed for players who enjoy making meaningful choices, engaging in character-driven roleplay, and solving classic fantasy problems, with combat that matters and consequences that last. New players are welcome, and veterans will find depth in a world that reacts to their actions. Every contract is just one night, but what you do that night can echo far beyond it.

Creating your character
Players are free to create their characters however they prefer; D&D Beyond (via the provided campaign link), Roll20, or good old pen and paper are all welcome. Use whatever tools you’re most comfortable with. All officially published D&D 5e content is allowed. Homebrew options are welcome as well, but must be reviewed and approved ahead of time to keep things balanced and fun for everyone. Each monthly one-shot will have specific character details, such as starting level, stat method, starting equipment, and any magical items, posted in the Discord server prior to the session. This allows each adventure to be tailored to its story while staying easy to jump into. Characters should be created before the session begins so we can jump straight into play. If you’re new to D&D or want help building a character, I’m always happy to assist ahead of time, just reach out!

What Skyybunny brings to the table
I bring a story-forward, player-driven D&D experience where your choices matter and creativity is rewarded. Expect engaging scenes, clear stakes, and a world that reacts to what you do—both in the moment and across future one-shots. I use ambient music and scene-based soundtracks to help set the tone and draw players into the world. NPCs are lively, memorable, and interactive, often voiced or distinctly characterized so they feel like real people rather than quest dispensers. My games favor the Rule of Cool—clever ideas, bold choices, and creative problem-solving are encouraged, even if they bend the rules slightly. Combat is cinematic and purposeful rather than overly tactical, designed to support the story instead of slow it down. Above all, my table is welcoming, collaborative, and respectful. Whether you’re brand new to D&D or a longtime player, you can expect a game that values fun, immersion, and shared storytelling.

How Skyybunny creates a safe table
Player safety is a top priority, and we’ll establish clear boundaries before the game begins. Player comfort and safety are a priority at my table. Before each one-shot, players will receive a Lines and Veils document to review and fill out ahead of time. This covers content that is off-limits (Lines), content that may appear in a limited or off-screen way (Veils), and content that is fully acceptable. At the start of the session, we’ll briefly review boundaries and address any questions to ensure everyone is comfortable with the game’s themes. During play, we’ll use both physical and digital safety tools, including X/N/O indicators and an X-card (or equivalent), allowing anyone to pause or redirect content quickly and without explanation. These tools are always respected, no questions asked. After each one-shot, I’ll do a check-in—either briefly as a group or privately if preferred—to make sure everyone is feeling okay. If anything intense or difficult comes up during the session, I provide space for aftercare and debriefing, whether immediately after the game or later via private message. My goal is to create games that are immersive, engaging, and fun, while also being respectful, inclusive, and safe for everyone at the table.
