About the adventure

You've been hired to deliver a sealed letter to the Winter Fae realm. The instructions are clear, the payment generous, and the contract precise. The letter must remain unopened until it reaches its intended recipient. Your journey leads through frozen woods where the boundary between worlds grows thin, and into a glittering ballroom where the Winter Court gathers in full splendor. Music drifts through the ice-lit halls while masked nobles watch from crystal balconies, each vying for court status through the ostentatious display of rare and magical treasures. Every word spoken at court carries weight. Every favor has a cost. And nothing offered by the Winter Court is ever simple. This is a night of beauty, danger, and quiet menace, where survival depends as much on wit and restraint as steel and spell craft. Deliver the letter. Navigate the court. Endure the night. Winter is watching.

About me

Hey there! I'm Avelaitixa (but you can call me Avel). I've been weaving stories and leading adventures for over 5 years alongside my husband Hawk. Whether you're interrogating political allies, sailing the high seas in search of lost treasures, or battling dark forces in forgotten dungeons, I love creating immersive, exciting, and player-driven worlds that pull you in and let your imagination run wild.

Safety

How Avelaitixa creates a safe table

X-Card: If something in the game becomes uncomfortable or distressing, any player can invoke the X-Card. This tool allows you to pause the scene, remove the specific content, and adjust the narrative as needed—no explanation required. The goal is to ensure everyone feels safe and respected. N-Card: If a topic or scene is manageable but begins approaching uncomfortable territory, the N-Card can be used. This signals to adjust the direction or tone without removing the content entirely. It’s a way to create boundaries while staying engaged in the game. O-Card: Use the O-Card to communicate that you're fully comfortable with the current content, even if it’s intense or challenging. It lets the group know you're okay to proceed and actively enjoying the direction of the story. Breaks: Halfway through the session, we will take a quick break to reset, grab a drink, bio, snack. But at any point, players can step away if needed. This ensures the game flows naturally without overwhelming anyone.
