About the adventure

A Christmas adventure for 11th level characters. The party has been hired to rescue Kris Kracklemas from the Krampus. Bring your wits, as well as your strength of arm to free the magical gnome before Yuletide comes so he can make his rounds and give gifts to all the good little children of the realm. The adventure begins in the mountain village of Bugenhold where earlier tonight Kris Kracklemas visited the local inn, enjoying a mince pie and a warm cider when the inn was attacked by goatmen being led by Krampus himself. They seemed to attack with a purpose, and Krampus quickly struck out with his whip at the gnome, and scooped him into his sack. The villains fled the village and no one else was harmed, however if Kris Kracklemas isn't rescued quickly Yuletide will be ruined for all the children of the realm.

About me

I'm Darth Wingnut. I became addicted to D&D when I was 14 and a friend asked me to run a game for him, though that also means I've been Forever DM for 34 years now. I started running games online just over a year ago and am looking forward to sculpting a story for you.

Creating your character

What Darth Wingnut brings to the table

I will share access to the Players Handbook, the Dungeon Master Guide, as well as the Forge of the Artificer books. I will also be leaning into the rule of cool as we go. My goal is to shape a fun story that will entertain you and your party for the evening, and we can all have a fun and friendly time. I also make sure I provide a safe space. I am very much pro-LGBTQ folks, and will not abide by someone making my players feel uncomfortable for being who they are.

Safety

How Darth Wingnut creates a safe table

I will be sending a questionnaire asking players for things they wish me to stay away from in game. I will also have an open door policy, if you need to step away for your own peace of mind, you should always feel free to do so. I also provide access to cards for players so they can let me know in session if something is taking a turn into territory they aren't comfortable with. Finally I will be available after our scheduled end time for at least an hour to chat with people and discuss any issues that arose.
