About the adventure

This adventure takes place in the North Pole in the place called Jingle Village. This is where your characters and othercitizens of Santa's Workshop live. Your characters can chose to be one of Santa's employees or be a cheerful citizen of the village. The story starts with celebration known as the "Send-Off festival" on the night of Christmas Eve. Here all employees and citizens have the day off to enjoy rest and relaxation until the hours before the festival. At night people crowd the center of the city to watch Santa go off and send out the gifts to the children of the world. This Christmas is different as the Gingerbreadians have decided to take action against Santa. What will your characters do to stop the Gingerbreadians and save Christmas.

About me

Hello everyone, I am Michael and I have been a Dungeon Master for four years, in that time I have ran over ten campaigns for many new players and have one on going for the past two years. I enjoy having a laugh at my games and letting players discover the world that awaits them and all it's secrets. As a DM I like to help create stories with my players that brings them the most amount of fun while playing. I see myself as a DM that views the rules as more of guidelines and will work around them to create a interesting game with my players. I focus mainly on 5th edition modules with my own little twist and homebrew ideas to make our games just a bit more of a unique experience. I enjoy playing with both new comers and veterans to the game to create a fun and safe space to enjoy D&D. I will also work to ensure that it is a safe space for all players. So let us start an adventure together, what do you say?

Character creation

Creating your character

When you decide to join, think of a character concept and message me the idea. We will have a session 0 to talk about backstory that might connect to this campaign. I will send you a link for D&D Beyond to join this campaign with your character and we will make your level 1 characters.

Safety

How DungeonMike creates a safe table

0️⃣ You can go over rules and safety tools before the session, and I am happy to accommodate your needs! ◦ First we will discuss character creation and backstory in the town of "Jingle Village". ◦ Then go over the things you will need to prepare for the campaign. ◦ Finally we set expectations for the open door policy as well as breaks. 📞 I will check in with players regularly, and can be reached out of sessions. 🚫 Disrespectful, hurtful, hateful speech or behavior is zero tolerance 🧝 As an actor I favor Roleplay encounters so if you enjoy that you will have fun. 🐲 You will face a wide range of different enemies in combat, and a lot of gingerbreads. 💀 This is a dangerous adventure, character death is a possibility.
