About the adventure

About me
I started DMing 5 years ago for my friends because we all wanted to learn how to play DND, and the person who was going to teach us had to leave. I have been our group's Permanent DM ever since and I've loved every single minute of it. I especially love helping people learn the game so no worries whether you're new or experienced. Creating your character
-No Homebrew -DND 5e 2024 Rules -Characters need to be made on D&DBeyond -Level 1. Characters will be Level 5 by the end of this game -Any Species, Any Class -Backstory is optional but always encouraged
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you will need is a D&DBeyond Account, a Discord account, and a microphone. Make a character in the D&DBeyond Character Builder and you're all set!

In this game, Content Sharing on D&DBeyond gives you access these Source Books for Character Creation: XGtE, TCoE, VGtR, Eberron, MOoT -I personally make every map we'll use in the game so my game is a truly unique experience. -Monsters and other baddies employ unique strategies to make Combat challenging and engaging! -I will provide Music and Ambient Sounds as well as a variety of voices and personalities for the world's people and monsters. Get lost in the vivid descriptions that invoked deep immersion. You will feel like you're watching a movie that you're also starring in and writing! -The Rule of Cool is used at my table when the rules are muddy or when looking up the exact ruling for a small dispute would break momentum.

How Mason creates a safe table
I believe Session 0 is an important part of any successful campaign so all the players are aware of all the Boundaries their party-mates may have. All players will have a direct and private line of communication with me at all times while we play. I also utilize Lines and Veils as well as the XNO system so players never have to worry about getting into a situation they are not comfortable with.
